luvinhubby: I am not attacking you but I wonder why you keep recommending Oando dextron 3 especially for a Honda baby boy with know gear issues. My experience with that oil is very bad, at high temperature when transmission is very hot (1hr driving) my gear (sienna 2000) was flaring badly and refused to leave gear 1, it was hovering between neutral and gear 1. When I reached home next day nah confirm total drain and I used Total MVLV which I can tell you is the best thing after maiyonnaise. |

nurey: I don't know about Dextron III for Toyota, but your experience is not related to a Honda on that. Thought Toyota gears are supposed to use Type T4 or WS? 2 Likes |
Re: Maintenance Tips For Honda Cars by nurey(m): 7:58am On Jun 06, 2019 |
luvinhubby: no, sienna 2000 is dextron 2 or 3 as recommended by manufacturer not type T-IV or WS. And I have used texamatic dextron 3 b4 but not in the market again reason I decided to try the Oando. |

Hello house. I have a 2003 Honda Element with transmission slipping issues, slow acceleration and reduced fuel mileage. A scan shows only a P0341 code. The camshaft position sensors have both been replaced; the one on Bank 1 has been changed twice now but the issue still persists and the code has refused to clear; check engine light still glowing with pride. Could it be that I did not get the right part for it? Could something else be causing it? Maybe the coil? Can a faulty coil cause that code? I'm also seeing some faulty coil symptoms (vibrating when not in motion, low fuel economy etc) but i didn't get a code on that. My car's details: 2003 Honda Element EX 2wd Auto transmission. Any help would be much appreciated. All kinds of assholes keep trying to take advantage of me because I'm female. If Google wasn't my friend, I would have paid one idiot for a new gear. Help a sister out. I need my baby back in top form. cc:gazzuzz and co. (Lol) |

Re: Maintenance Tips For Honda Cars by seanfer(m): 11:45am On Jun 11, 2019 |
blackbone989: It is a good buy.. But remember you are buying a SUV.. The fuel consumption is on the high side because it comes with V6 3.5L engine.... If you are not the type that will be checking the fuel guage everytime you are in the traffic. You can go for it |

Hello, please help, my Honda Accord 2008 jerks on entering gear one but selects normal on other gears, changed sensors but it's happening.. I'm planning to change the gear box, drove it today, and it's started vibrating/jerking while on park, drive or reverse, I opened the burnet and the gear is shaking heavily and all the engine sittings are perfectly okay, and it's raising properly, doesn't pass 3.. in-between 2-3... Please help... I changed the k shaft last month.. please what could be the problem of the vibration??.. |

kernniejay: nobody has opened my gear b4 in Canada or naija nothing like that. I did maintenance by changing fluid and since I couldn't get texamatic (dextron 3) I used 2years b4 I decided to use Oando as recommended by alot of people. My conclusion is either the Oando is expired or it is just a rubbish oil and I bought it from a fuelling station not roadside. any way the total is doing good and I will never use nor recommend Oando dextron 3 |

Please I use a 2008 Honda Accord. I recently took out my battery to assist a friend jump start his car... Only to discover that my radio refused working because of the anti-theft thingy in place. Problem is I don't have the code to reactivate it back. Please how who knows a radio specialist that can get the code for me and how much. Driving without music is like I am mourning the dead☹️ |

whatstheFUZZ:Turn your radio off. Turn key to the ON position. Do not start, just leave ignition in ON position. Press and hold the numbers 1 and 6 on your radio with one hand. Using your other hand, turn the radio on while keeping 1 and 6 pressed. Ten characters will appear on the screen, usually alphanumeric. Write down all the numbers you see. That’s ur radio serial number. Get ur VIN and visit https://radio-navicode.honda.com/ Click the “get codes” tab The serial number, ur VIN and a valid email will be requested. The radio code will be sent to your email. You can keep it for future use. 3 Likes |
