What to consider while buying is to know the size of battery and hence load you'll safely run on it.

It is a handy device to give one a taste of the renewable experience. In my experience, most solar generators from China usually have capacity far less than the stated capacity. It is not hard to see a 48WH solar generator labeled as 480WH capacity. It's made in China and they can afford to stick any label on their product without any repercussions.

Also, most of them use the lowest quality lithium batteries and $1 BMS, lol, to construct the solar power generator.

How many litres of water do you intend to use each day?

We finished the project below last week Monday for a farm that has water need of over 20,000L per day.

I've seen good reviews of this unit, but I still won't buy it as the price does not justify what it can do. I think it's an overpriced piece of equipment. I'd rather buy myself some premium Lifepo4 batteries rather than this expensive piece of backup powerbank.

You are right. But adding more panels would not help either. So the only other option is to reduce load.

This is why I am a fan of lithium batteries, lead batteries are too cumbersome and inefficient, it's only advantage is its lower cost and relative safety.

More panels can give lots of excess harvest which can be utilized when the sun is up without draining the battery at the same time

has anybody used the keye inverter range??, am trying to strike a balance between cost and functionality in the 3 inverters, am not a fan of inbuilt CC. keye appears to be the most competitive, price wise. i need pure sinewave inverter, short circuit & overload protection, would have prefferred the cheaper non charging option, but yet to see a decent non-charging inverter that is pure sinewave, with overload&shortcircuit protection

Welcome to the light.
Lead acid is a waste of money. You can't draw lead acid beyond 50% DOD without damaging the battery, but lithium phosphate can be drawn 85% without serious problem.

The credentials of this battery is impressive. The only problem is the 10.95 nominal voltage and the 12.6 maximum voltage. It will not work with traditional 12v equipment like inverters, chargers and charge controllers.

Good inverters allow for custom battery modes, so you could very easily set your cut-off, bulk and/or float points.

From my little experience, each pack in series puts out the total current draw and a fraction of the voltage. This means that the each 1s80p you have will put out 3.7v (nominal) and 60A (BMS capacity) and the 14s will put out 14x3.7v, 60A.

Your small wires are still good though as each cell will put out 60A/80cells which is less than 1A.

I do have a spot welder, and I have been welding for a while now, only on very small packs... u should NOT do spot welding on such large packs, in fact NEVER spot weld your large packs, for Li-Ion if one cell goes bad(short-circuit ) then like me you will kill all 80cells in the pack, I had to fuse all the cells, but another option is to spot-weld the fuse which is too tedious for an old eye like mine

Except you're using the boreholes commercially, the cost of a solar borehole is prohibitive, I should add.

From my little experience, each pack in series puts out the total current draw and a fraction of the voltage. This means that the each 1s80p you have will put out 3.7v (nominal) and 60A (BMS capacity) and the 14s will put out 14x3.7v, 60A.

Your small wires are still good though as each cell will put out 60A/80cells which is less than 1A.

You are very correct...

my earlier explanation was based on the wrong cables.. sorry about that.. to make it clear

the tiny red cables are used strictly for balancing .. meaning discharging the pack whenever the pack reaches full to stop it from overcharging.. current is not pulled from them to serve the inverter.
