Kanu Nwankwo did not make the 1993 AYC team. He was dropped from the final squad and was redeployed to the Golden Eaglets.

A better coach would have done better with this 2019 Flying Eagles team

Pep Guardiola:
"Before Leicester were a counter-attacking team, now with Brendan Rodgers they have another way to play, they can control all parts of the game so I think Brendan has showed his incredible quality as a manager.

"In two months, his team is already playing the way he wants to play. Of course with incredible quality, with so fast players, honestly I've been really impressed."

In a short stint with Leicester City, Rodgers was able to prove his identity and show he is not your everyday average manager.

Rodgers being an average coach doesn't make him a bad coach

Putting Kanu on that list I think was an error. Kanu was part of the Qualifiers but was dropped to the Golden Eaglets team when the final AYC team came up. I was a journalist just like that fellow that wrote that stuff too. smiley

The EPL was an upgrade of their careers.

How was it an upgrade to their career ? You just dey change mouth

None of this player came from the Barca nor Madrid you acclaimed as the only Spanish team with big players

Epl keep shopping players from Spanish small teams but you will never see Barca and Madrid shopping from Everton crystal palace and co

This shows the quality of the laliga

Take a look at mancity buying Laporte from Bilbao and otamendi from Valencia

Imagine Barca or Madrid buying Michael keane from Everton or Ben mee from burnley or James tarkowski ,these are decent players in the Epl

You don't know what honesty is, you have to have objectivity to be honest, you simply don't.

The pertinent issue is performances not just games played.

KC played more games than Balogun but can you be honest and assess his performance ❓ Has it been satisfactory, above average, good or abysmally woeful, please tell us HONESTLY ❓❓

Considering KC cost £25 million would you say there has been a good return on Leicester city's investment❓ HONESTLY speaking ❓ ❓

What would you describe a return of one goal in the EPL all season after 30 games. Please be HONEST❓

To make sure you do not get confused let me give you the meaning of HONESTY just in case you do not know.

free of deceit; truthful and sincere, straightforward

The way u like to emphasize on 25 million pound KC is what I don't understand. There was a certain Fernando Torres of Chelsea who was largely a full time flop at Chelsea when he switched from Liverpool. You can now deceitfully, circumvent fact by saying he scored the goal that took Chelsea to the finals. Give the nigga that time to score the goal that keeps leceister in the premier league after they find themselves in relegation battle this coming season

I can tell you the good things Sterling said about Rodgers too.

No one can deny the impact of Rodgers at Celtics and now at Leicester City. He was also amazing at Swansea. They played one of the best brands in the EPL when he was there.

I will definitely listen to Brendan Rodgers because he has first hand information.

I am talking about what Raheem said not what he said to the media.

Remove Jordan sancho there .

Did he even play 1 minute in the Epl that you are mentioning him ? Lol

Isn't that more pertinent a player who couldn't even make the bench at City goes to the Bundesliga and cleans up.

Mancity is a big team and have quality players, you dont expect jordan sancho to make mancity team , stop berating the bundesliga okay, even as good as liverpool only few players there will start at city.

Should i also tell you that fabregas could not make barcelona team and went ahead to tear the epl apart? so does that make the epl a bad league?

But I still don't understand why he couldn't succeed after Suarez left
Because Suarez was replaced by Balotelli who didn't want??
Are we going to act like he wasn't the one that brought out the best out of Suarez in Liverpool??

Onuachu gives the SE a different option that Iheanacho can not offer.

It's a difficult question, can he Onuachu stand up and be counted in comparison to the other options. The only contenders are Osihmen and Iheanacho.

In comparison he is more consistent and regards the Denmark league there are questions but so also are there questions about the Belguim league.

Iheanacho has been impotent for two seasons and he doesn't even look like he can up his game.
Onuachu is a bit similar to Osihmen. That's who I think he'll be competing for a place with.
Nacho is 95 percent guaranteed to make the final 23. It'd take a monumental screw up for him to be dropped.

How many players have gone from Overhyped EPL you asslick to other leagues to be a hit?
EPL is the most attractive destination for players other than Real Madrid and Barca(mainly has to do with epl money no doubt)
How many Barca and Madrid players leave for the epl?
Besides at least 95 percent of the players that move from LA Liga tend to step up to bigger epl teams.

Rodgers is an average coach what else do you expect from him ?
Rodgers is not average. He turned Swansea to a top 10 team before he left and of course took a decent liverpool team at best to second place.
Rodgers main problem is he's a poor man manager. If you're talking actual coaching - he is very good at it.

Lukaku came into Chelsea as an 18 year old didn't play and after getting stale and denied opportunity, he was never going to replace Drogba.

He went on loan to West Bromwich the rest is now history.

He played. Lukaku has been scoring double digit goals consistently in the EPL.

A Manchester United striker and currently sought for by Inter Milan. The story never finish.

Get the point the EPL was still an upgrade to their career. Thus, more quality in the EPL.

Aguero left atletico for mancity, atletico has always been a bigger team than mancity anytime anyday

Remember we already have Ikouwem Utin and Valentine Ozornwafor on Super Eagles stand-by list.

Icon4s:

The way peeps have been saying it as if the team is a total write off.

We are often too quick to forget or we fail to realize that only very few players progress from youth to senior teams. If 2-3 players from this 2019 Flying Eagles make it across we move on. 2 years time again we select another few and move on.

I wouldn't call him WC but he's a very good coach. He's not a great motivator like Klopp.
I like how he sets up his teams plus his eye for talent. I don't think he can handle big players (one of the reasons I didn't want him at arsenal)
