True. The point I was making though, was that even after the uninspiring AFCON performance of the team, these two were still selected to be part of the super eagles 31-man list. Shows that though a team as a whole may be awful, individual talents may still exist. Additionally, individual players who may not be outstanding during a competition may develop and improve with time. For example, I don't think everyone was a big fan of Ighalo in the 2009 U-20 World Cup.

Not true at all in any way. Valencia had a richer history then but lacked the clout or rep to attract the kind of names City pulled. From the likes of Jo, Adebayor, Robinho, Tevez, Bellamy, Toure, Gareth Barry, Milner, Benjani, Tevez and a host of others.
