theblackjack76: Yeah. But ironically those two may still not make the main squad. It can be some other players. That is how football is. |

True. The point I was making though, was that even after the uninspiring AFCON performance of the team, these two were still selected to be part of the super eagles 31-man list. Shows that though a team as a whole may be awful, individual talents may still exist. Additionally, individual players who may not be outstanding during a competition may develop and improve with time. For example, I don't think everyone was a big fan of Ighalo in the 2009 U-20 World Cup. Icon4s: |

komekn: One goal and 4 assist for a back up striker is not bad at all. I don't give a sh*t about his price, did it come out of your pocket? When I bring up victor Osimhen you say Belgium is not a top league but now you want to play up a much lower Danish league to get your sentiments across. Where does Denmark rank on that your league ranking? Lower than Belgium I am sure you know. Leon Balogun was a bench warmer this season and you people want to give him an exemption but want to use that same mouth to talk down a much younger Iheanacho. 4 Likes |

Certitude: Aina played only 5 minutes and had 4 in his rating but Ebuehi who played 90 minutes had 5 in his rating. Who was POORER? Ebuehi of course. You lied Aina never performed in GWG but fact was presented to disapproved your claims yet came up with this. Keep deceiving yourself with your emotive bias sentimental reasons but facts don't lie.

Icon4s:Chief how is your health? hope you are feeling better now. It's well boss. Kanu was part of Mauritius AYC 93 squad but was drafted to Japan 93 with Emma Babayaro who was equally part of AYC 93 squad. This was made possible by Clemens Westerhoff but then U17 coach Fanny Amu did not fancy the idea if not for NFA who insisted that the duo must be part of U17. Emma Babayaro suffered for this cos he was far better than no1 choice Emma Okhenebo but talent put Kanu Nwankwo through cos i remember how Kanu was benched against Australia but proved Fanny wronged by coming from the bench to put the match beyond Aussie team. Pls check archive and see the the full list of AYC Mauritius 93 Nigeria team that have Jayjay Okocha,Taribo West,Emma Teberen,Andrew Aihkomogbe,Emma Babayaro,KANU Nwankwo and others. |

DrLikita12: No I did and it just pisses me of when he uses double standards in his arguments. It is obvious that both Iheanacho and Balogun have been big parts of the team why they are getting this chance so let us not make one better than the other because in actuality they both had seasons to forget and they both have good players in their positions. The only difference between Leon and Efe Ambrose is that one has been part of the team under Rohr. |

BascoVanVeli: Balogun's problem is not as a result of decline in form but his clubs coach overreliance on two first choice CB's Iheanacho' problem has been decline in form despite having chances upon chances to redeem himself Don't compare Iheanacho to Balogun pls 8 Likes

andrew444: Lukaku was played out of position and he wasn't given chance to prove himself. I remembered many Chelsea fans thought he was a bad player but I disagreed because I already knew him in Belgium as a monster before he came to EPL. |

Earthquake2: Balogun did not decline in form and he is not making match day squad most times? there was a time i argued with you about this and i was the one that was wrong and now you are changing mouth So iheanacho playing 10 minutes means chances to redeem him self abi? Yes i agree he has been poor but stop saying chances upon chances Brighton centre defence pair are better than balogun and its simple and clear, there is nothing like over reliance |

andrew444: Not true at all in any way. Valencia had a richer history then but lacked the clout or rep to attract the kind of names City pulled. From the likes of Jo, Adebayor, Robinho, Tevez, Bellamy, Toure, Gareth Barry, Milner, Benjani, Tevez and a host of others. Valencia would never get or attract a player over Manchester City in any way. Valencia to Manchester City was an upward trajectory. |

TheGoodJoe: Valencia is a bigger club than mancity 2010 this is what everybody knows Why wont mancity attract players with their money? if chinese league can attract players then mancity can attract players Even a certain russian club named anzhi attract samuel eto ahead of the epl Is it valencia that has been playing in the champions league for long? Valencia has won 6 laliga titles hope you know? when did mancity start winning trophy? how many premier league has mancity won? Valencia played in the champions league final back to back 1999–2000, 2000–01 Valencia won the uefa cup 2003–04 which is now europa league Valencia is a bigger club than mancity 2010 and everybody know this, this one no need arguement. You should know am a mancity fan also but i will not be bias, na yesterday mancity comeout o 4 Likes |

andrew444: Players like Aguero would not prefer to be in Atletico Madrid over joining the EPL. Aguero on joining Manchester City: "When we were talking I asked my agents to do everything they could because this was a good club and I'd always wanted to play in the Premier League. It felt right.id over joining City then." |

andrew444: David Silva on joining Manchester City: "The time is right for me to seek a new challenge, and I am thrilled about playing in England with Manchester City. "I believe the Premier League is one of the best competitions in the world and I want to bring success to City and win trophies for them. Valencia has a bigger history but the EPL attracts bigger names. The point is too clear. Finito. |

TheGoodJoe: Silva joned city for money and the team project was successful so he remained there ,mancity offered better salary so what do you expect? So a player will leave atletico madrid and join bournemouth abi because epl attract bigger names? You are very funny i swear What brought robinho to mancity? Robinho was Abu Dhabi United Group first project to be signed at a record 40 million euros 2008, with bigger salary than madrid Robinho snubbed epl big boys chelsea then for mancity, that says alot for a mancity team to attract robinho over chelsea |

Earthquake2:Balogun was no longer making bench when burn came from loan, can't be 2 CBs on the bench meaning he was then 4th on the perking order. Meaning iheanacho had more probability of playing than him. Balogun scored his ist ever EPL goal against Palace then brought down zaha to cause a penalty to cancel his own goal |

BascoVanVeli: Can you mention a bad game Balogun had to warrant him sitting on the bench Balogun's situation is as a result of the abilities of his competition, Iheanacho on the other hand has been underwhelming in almost all the matches he played this season |
