darkelf: Moses can pass and for being able to help the defense he can do that as a midfielder His strengths suit him better as a midfielder than a winger |

edi287: Iwobi has been played in that position on numerous times both club side and in the national team, yet he has not stamped his feet. We will never know what Simon can do until he is played in that position. |

Experimenting players prior to a major competition in a position they are not well familiar with is a recipe for failure. Aigbogun did it with most of his players recently. Rohr by now should have been well acquainted with the right personnel for various positions in his team. The standard is 23 players. Of which he is to have probably; 3 -Goalkeepers 4 -Centre backs 2 -Rightbacks 2- Leftbacks 4 -Defensive midfielders 2 -Attacking midfielders 2 -Right wingers 2 -Left wingers 2 -Strikers It is one of the reasons the team oftentimes inspired less confidence in matches because they tend to struggle. Making players jack of all trade & master of none really devalue their qualities. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Kog45: Well then, quite a long time ago thanks for the reminder. But I can't remember any game Kanu played. The team also had Tijani Babangida. But the point remains that that team still produced quality SE players. If it were today peeps will write them off as "the worst Flying Eagles ever" I am very much ok now. Discharged from the hospital and recovering at home. 2 Likes |

OMANBALA1:Iwobi has done well in the middle for Arsenal many times. It is his best position actually. Simon Moses doesn't have the feel to play as an AM. 1 Like |

zoboizee: It is a norm for national teams to play players out of their natural positions. There are certain situations in which a team will have deficiency in a certain position(s) rather than Fielding an incompetent greenhorn there they would rather convert a well talented player to fill that position. U saw Ronaldo and Nani play as top strikers in the last Euros. David Alaba also played as an AM in that tournament. As u cannot buy players for the national teams u have to make optimal use of the personnel u have available. |

TheGoodJoe: Rodgers is average which makes him not world class ,so you expect guardiola to talk down on guardiola abi ? Put Rodgers in Tottenham and they will never make top 4 as pochetino is doing |

OMANBALA1: Na true. As if you say you know get heart. Fine. Iwobi has not really solved it but we don't need a makeshift Moses in that role. It's too late to experiment. It's better we bring Eze and Onomah after the tournament. 1 Like |

TheGoodJoe: Football is money bros Even Ruben neves left fc Porto for championship side wolves for a 60k per week salary and the transfer fee was 20 million euros which was a record fee in the championship ,so championship football attracted Ruben neves abi na money ? Deportivo and co are bigger club than most Epl club but they can't compete for players because they are poor ,if they have the financial power like Epl small teams then they will win players over You have still refused to answer my question ,how did Samuel eto ended up at Anzhi ahead of Epl teams ? Is it not because of money ? Or you want me to tell you that Russian league attract players more than the Epl ? How did William ended up at Anzhi ahead of European big boys expecially the Epl teams ? The sold Willian and co because they later have financial issues I hope you will get my point now at least 4 Likes |
