In the meantime - Kenya SGR - started construction in 2014 - and in record 3yrs was in Nairobi - and now in Naivasha (about 600ksm) - and in 2yrs of operation (1 yr for cargo)...

According to the statistics from the Africa Star Railway Operation Company Ltd, by 31st May, SGR has offered service to 3 million passengers and transported 440,000 TEUs. The transportation management to 25 stations out of 33 is fully handled by Kenyan employees.
