South Korea looking very poor in their own half. Hopefully Nigeria exploits this. |

Icon4s: Regardless of your opponent, there are some simple defensive mistakes that you should not be making. The French have not even been that clinical as well. The game should've been 6-0 by now. |

Icon4s: That's correct. Nervousness from facing a top ranked team can certainly throw off your game. |

Bolowolowo: U get it. This French team is too good. Their ball sense is higher than female football level. They are a team to beat. |

Earthquake2: Jamie Vardy has been revived following Brendan Rodgers’s arrival at Leicester City, but the manager is convinced there is still much more to come from the former England forward. Vardy, 32, had endured a frustrating campaign prior to the appointment of Rodgers at the end of February. He had scored just nine goals, and his relationship with former manager Claude Puel appeared to be strained in the weeks building up to the Frenchman’s departure. The mood has since changed, however, and Vardy’s goal here – a near-post effort after a clever run had taken him in front of Fabian Balbuena – was his seventh in seven games and confirmed his instincts are as sharp as ever. In Rodgers’s eyes, it also highlighted the benefits of the tactical changes he has made to bring the best out of the player. “When you have seen Leicester’s title run, some of the passes from deeper were with quality and played him in, and he got a goal from that position, and obviously over the last few years, teams have worked that out a little bit,” said Rodgers. “How we have tried to work in training is to bring the ball closer to him in order to serve him better. He has still got great legs, you see his speed. He is such a threat, he can occupy the whole back four on his own, but he has been a joy to work with.” From telegraph. You are spreading a very wrong notion of something that was clear to see and Vardy rejuvenated under Rodgers. Finito. |

The French are disatisfied with their performance. Hats off to the Koreans. I was expecting a massacre but they really held their own and remained defensively rigid in the 2nd half. 1 Like |

Icon4s: Oga that one na eye service. France hosted the 2018 U20s and still came 4th even with their star studded team. The are the biggest under achievers in the women's game. I remember in 2014 when Oshoala hit the world scene, the team I was most afraid of was France but like film trick they were bundled out the tournament before we could even meet. 1 Like |
