A support staff could either be a contract staff or a permanent staff depending on the process in which he or she was engaged.

A support staff basically works as an assistant to a higher staff in a particular department. For instance, they could exist a senior field engineer but because he or she cannot do all the work in the field, a need for more field engineers will arise and subsequently employed to work under the supervision of the senior field engineer.

In some companies, graduate trainees are seen as support staff until they climb the organizational hierarchy.

True...I validate your information! Remember we took our test on Saturday....this past week has been for sallah holidays...most persons in the Cooperation were off duty almost all through the week.... This coming week they would get to work and possibly toward the end of June we would get feedback.... Let's all be calm!

Considering the fact that in the 2011 recruitment successful guys were contacted in a months' time (the test being paper based), don't you guys think they will contact us in less than that time? Please those with useful info and if possible that Joseph the dreamer (though I feel he is an insider and not a dreamer) should give us hint on when to expect success mails. That's all I am interested in right now.

Guys should try to understand that the process is not handled by the corporate headquarter alone but by a committee compromises of persons from other subsidiaries ,once meeting is scheduled they are expected to come from their different locations . Once you meet up with the required scores you must be invited . Once you pass the interview you must be invited too. Recommendation has nothing to do with this. Those who will recommend have their own slots.Federal character will come up but don't expect it to be equally distributed because of those that will be recommended but at the end the binomial curve will be in order and accepted.
