Usually and before ppl take the bamako route, but ur best bet is to follow cote de voir, tthen from there to guinea and from there to senegal or banjul ,there is nothing difficult about it ,there are many gambians in lagos or nigeria ,people go there a lot nothing special about the journey |

from Lagos get to Seme Border, cross the border and enter a car going to Tokpa/Dantokpa market in Cotonou Benin Republic, (it costs about 1,000 CFA), where they will stop you at Tokpa market ask the bike men there to take you to where you will enter a direct bus to Senegal, it costs about 55,000CFA (approximately 19,000 Naira) from Senegal you can easily cross to Gambia through a ferry or somethinh like that. 5 Likes 1 Share |

good4all: l have vaccination card and international passport with many stamps on it, what other documents do l need to travel to Gambia. and as for the Senegal bus, do u know the time and days it travels. Thanks a million fold I don't have an idea of the days of travel but I guess the bus leaves everyday but I know it usually leaves around evening. You can book your ticket ahead of time and wait for departure time. To make it easier for you call this okada man and make further inquiries from him, he stays around the Tokpa park and can easily take you there for 200 CFA or less +22996710835 Nasir Okada Tokpa. As for the documents, you are good to go. Please don't forget to update the house of your findings and discoveries(even from the okada man). Every little detail will sure help so many others out. 4 Likes |

With the current Ebola situation, you should avoid the coast and for the northern route to Niger, Mali, Senegal, and Gambia. Avoid CIV, Liberia, Guinea, and Sierra Leone. |
