Rohr should have dropped Iheanacho prior to the world cup when it was obvious he lost form but he kept playing him over players that were in form.

He made him too relaxed and assured for a call.

This was what I saw then that made me to voice out on several occasions but people thought I was hating and even went as far as calling me a tribalist.

I think they were the true enemies of Iheanacho. They never really love the boy.

However, I think converting him into a striker from a SS/Amf didn't do him well, perhaps.

I hope he gets back to the Iheanacho we know. Goodluck.

Iheanacho's rise to fame was playing as a center forward. By the way, Iheanacho had a good performance in the game against Iceland.

That is something people like you will hide from mentioning.

Final List.
Wooow now this is a surprise!!! Rohr taking about Onachu and Osimhen is very surprising.
I get the feeling either both performed too well to be dropped in training or Nacho simply wasn't up go scratch.
In terms of performance over the season - no doubt Nacho deserves to be dropped. I just didn't think Rohr would take two target men to AFCON.
Nacho has got to evaluate his career over the summer. He's gone from being our golden to being 4th choice forward. With the number of wide forwards we have - it'll be extremely difficult for him to come back to the team unless he plays well.

I'm assuming Rohr will be playing 3-5-2 seeing he dropped Semi.
I would've dropped Shehu or Awaziem instead.

The world already knew Iheanacho before he joined Manchester City but he wasn't a CF then.

We don't see thinks the same way. I already saw before this day.

Rohr opting for Awaziem means that we'll majorly play 3-5-2 in the tournament

I still have reservations over that formation
To an extent I think we play good football with this formation
No room for lapses

Professional football rep of Iheanacho has always been as a striker. Not when the World new him.

Awaziem played for Porto first team before he was loaned to Ligue 1 last season though he didn't get to play this season before he was loaned out to a Turkish club.
Sorry my bad, please FORGIVE me. sad

We don't need to jampack the midfield against African opposition

It only works against European teams

Drop this, drop that... Your Favourite player might not get a minute sef. Hope you won't start kicking when it finally happens, i believe some people are here today just because their favourite player/friend made the AFCON squad just like that Kelly guy that got himself exposed over Iheanacho's Exclusion. *Spits*.

So if u were Rohr u will prefer to take a striker who scored only a single goal in the just concluded season and have as well been a shadow of his old self? This is the reason why as a nation we will never grow. Stop been sentimental

see as you dey behave like pikin because kele was dropped.
was kelechi not at the WC when we left at the group stage?
abeg make person hear word
you are not the only kelechi's fan here

I was so surprised with his comment...
he sound as if he is the only nacho fan here...

I am so happy with this list...though I would have love to see Ajayi replace Ogu on that list....but anyway Ogu has a team bonding spirit...he acts like a big brother and don't read sad lines to him sitting on the bench...

anyway I am so happy Nacho was dropped....
next thing is for Oshimen to take over that 9 role.....

I love the prospect buh I wouldn't quake if we lose him. We are so packed in his position. Kalu, Onyekuru, Chuks, Musa, Okereke and Dennis are a mountain too high for his young shoulders. I would have loved him for our U20s... Lets hope he gets a shot with the U23s sha. Truth is that I am tired of wingers, we already have enough, I want goal keepers, LBs and CMs/AMs.

Modified;

Sorry he just made his debut for the Swiss national team

abeg leave that guy....
I was so surprised with his statement...it makes nonsense.

this team and possibly the under 17 team come August for the under 17 world cup...are the only teams that will lighten up and make Nigerians forget their worries this year....except If Manu garba should to allow the devil use him to replicate another Aigbogun debacle....

but for now....Rohr deserve all the supports...the team make sense abeg

You can never tell who could become world class among them. We just need to secure him and watch how he develops.

Well, Eze and Onomah should be given the chance in the CM/AM.

Sometimes you have got to put hardwork in order to be considered..same goes here for everyone..learn to accept defeat and failures and make corrections or situp...no doubt ihenacho is a good player but then he has suffered a dip in form...he has to work on that and come back stronger and prove to the coaches.... Same goes to everyone of us here, sometimes things might not go well with us..we should never give up..keep on working hard and you will get good results...GOD BLESS EVERYONE..

I didnt want KC to go to the AFCON either based on the fact that 1. He has not improved. 2. He has not been playing. Now that every Kelechi hater has had their dream achieved of dropping him lets let the matter rest. No need for all the mockery and dress down.

My best wishes are with Iheanacho. He must come back stronger and prove his critics wrong.

Forgiveness , you are dead wrong that Iheanacho should not have gone to the world cup. He was active for club during world cup preparations and scored some very important goals. Your dislike for Iheanacho is not exactly based on his performances....Its purely tribal and everyone here knows this. So, flush your bias and bigoted opinion down the toilet!
