Aladdin. I have already watched it 4x. It was very nicely done and ticked all the boxes for this nostalgic 90s kid. It was also a good enough movie to introduce Aladdin to a newer generation. Will Smith was very awesome.

More awesome than Robin Williams?

Hotel Mumbai

Brutal, compelling, and astronomically puissant. This movie didn't hold back. I appreciated the fact they didn't dramatize the whole situation by giving us a happy ending, esp in Armie Hammer's case. It just shows that in a situation like this, no one is safe or special in the eyes of terrorists.

Overall, it's not the easiest to optically canvass, but at the same time I believe it shouldn't be. This is a consequential real life event, and people should know that terrorism is real.

Robin Williams was brilliant and the character of the Genie was written for Robin Williams. However, I am not going to compare the two. I think it’s an unfair comparison, one was a brilliant impression and voice over on a cartoon, the other had to actually act in a live action movie.

Also, Will Smith’s Genie was the best fit for this LA Aladdin. I loved both!

It's very unfortunate. A massive city like that has no business not having an elite security force nearby.

Meanwhile, if you line up the equidistance from New Delhi to Mumbai, you'd realize that the special forces made it to the Taj hotel in record time.
