Lawan Got Party Endorsement In 2015 And Still Lost Senate Presidency – Ndume by Ify05: 4:40pm On Jun 09, 2019 |
Senator Ali Ndume has said he is not interested in party endorsement but instead interested in votes that will make him Senate president. The Nation reports that Ndume was speaking about the wave of party endorsement for Senator Ahmad Lawan to be the Senate president in the ninth assembly. The Borno lawmaker said he was confident of winning on Tuesday, June 11 when the National Assembly meets. Ndume rcalled that in 2015, Lawan had party endorsement but still lost out in the race. He said: “Well, I’ve said before that I am not looking for endorsement but looking for votes on election day. “This kind of thing has been there all along, we have seen endorsements against several elections. We are there already and shall become past in question of hours from now.” on Friday, June 7, attended Sen Lawan’s launch of his 9th Senate presidency’s agenda, declaring their full support for his candidacy. https://www.legit.ng/amp/1242450-lawan-party-endorsement-2019-lost-senate-presidency---ndume.html 3 Likes

My take on this issue. If Ndume wins and Lawan come lose, that means Ndume will be the SP of the 9th Assembly but if Ndume loses and Lawan come win, that means Lawan will come and be the number 3 citizen. If Ndume and Lawan draws, that means both Lawan and Ndume will be crown 2019 9th Assembly Champions! What a League. 6 Likes 1 Share |

Lawan can take his endorsements and become the Senate President of APC, while Ndume gets the votes and becomes the Senate President of the FRN. 7 Likes 1 Share |

Its the end of the road for you Senator Ndume, Lawan is winning this , its a done deal. If PDP will have to choose between you and Lawan, they will surely go for Lawan , not you. 3 Likes |
