Potential brought him to Manchester City. Manchester City gave him the fame as a professional footballer.

Finito.

There are many potential players in Aba, Owerri, Ajegunle etcetera but it hasn't taken them beyond the shores of naija. Why?

Rohr is very loyal to players he likes. The reason he kept his faith with Iheanacho, Musa etcetera but unfortunately it didn't help Iheanacho.

Iheanacho ought to have been dropped long before now to inspire him to work harder but blind love just wouldn't allow Rohr drop him.

Anyway, it's good for him though in the depth of my heart I really wanted him to go to Egypt because I haven't seen enough of Onuachu.
Same here. But it looks like Nacho didn't give him a choice.

That is the mistake a lot of people make. I pointed out that Osimhen was improving at Wolfsburg even without playing time and I noticed it in one of the games against South Africa.

Keep in mind, Osimhen showed good form as soon as he joined Charleroi. Meaning the improvement was before Charleroi, not after.

Charleroi was just a platform to show what he gained training with the likes of Mario Gomez and Origi.

For now, Nacho has a brilliant striker in Vardy to understudy and also a brilliant tactical manager to improve his tactical insight. Going to a less competent manager is the wrong move.

Are you saying that at this age Iheanacho should continue to understudy till he retires, know that by 25 as a footballer you are expected to by at your prime and is expected to be stable by then.
At this age he does not need to understudy anybody he need to stand on his own by now.

Origi is 24 and still developing. Nacho needs this lesson now he has the chance to work with a tactical mastermind. Leaving now robs him of that chance.

I am for.... Iheanacho should have been allowed to grow as a SS/AMF but he is for.... Iheanacho gained fame as a striker.

This I disagree. Iheanacho gained fame as a SS.

I think by now your anger should be well vented. Time to get back to why we are here. I think Rohr has chosen his strategy for the competition which is to rely on working with strong physical target men which Onuachu, Osimhen and Ighalo clearly fits the bill.

Iheanacho might be a brilliant striker but he might not fit the system Rohr has chosen for the competition. Nacho's focus should shift to the preseason to make a big impact on the manager while we get behind our lads who fly our flags at the AFCON.

What's brilliant abt a striker dt scored just one goal in 30matches, a striker dt can trap a ball, loss his confidence... Where is d brilliancy dere undecided

How did they know Iheanacho?

Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew admitted he knew next to nothing about Kelechi Iheanacho before the Manchester City youngster scored a late winner at Selhurst Park.

Asked at a post-match media conference if he previously knew who Iheanacho was, Pardew said:
"No, if I'm honest. I had to look at his shirt and check who he was."

I got same when people called Mikel crap. Even when I pointed out Osimhen was improving some argued.

The point is simple. Iheanacho is yet to get a run of games in an offensive system. After he gets that, you can judge him. Ridiculing him does not change the fact.

This rumors about Kelechi trying to attack the coach and had to be restrained. Mikel also had to be restrained as he wanted to slap him. How true is this ??

That means he is a bad learner if he hasn't learnt anything for four seasons.

I guess Nacho rose to fame as one of the deadliest finisher in the EPL, having a brilliant scoring average in the EPL by learning nothing.

Clap for yourself.

We don't need to jampack the midfield against African opposition

It only works against European teams

Flashes of brilliant, he has talents way before the premiership debut, but you know talent is not good enough, you have to learn new skills to boost the talents you have, but lately he has refused to learn that's why he is down the pecking order.

In 2016/2017, Iheanacho scored only 7 goals in all competitions but Kayode scored 22 goals the same season and he was declared the highest goal scorer and the best player in Austrian league.

Obviously, Iheanacho wasn't the best striker in Europe or anywhere else.

“From what I’ve seen in training and when I’ve spoken to him, he has shown a wonderful appetite and enthusiasm to get better." Brendan Rodgers on Iheanacho.

You assumptions are off track.

Obviously, Kayode went to the same Manchester City and could not smell bench. It was obvious the Austrian league goals was not a good yardstick to judge quality as most were raving on.
