Jarus: African football is really poor... This price money is too small. Most African players earn far more than its being offered to Nations here. Heck!.. Even iheanacho alone is worth $25M. CAF should do better abeg |

Barryseal: But he had a poor run of games. Simeone got relegated at River Plate. Good coaches have poor runs. |

Barryseal: Klopp has coached Dortmund since 2008, taking them to two league titles and the Champions League final in 2012-13, but this term they are currently 10th. They lie 37 points behind leaders Bayern Munich, having been bottom of the league in February before a partial revival. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/32317833 Enough said. Klopp was beyond atrocious and was bottom of the league at some point. |

Transfer: Tottenham sign Nigerian striker John Owen Nwachukwu Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed the signing of talented Nigerian striker, Kion Etete. The North London side made this known in a statement on its website. However, the financial terms and duration of contract have not been disclosed by the North London club. The 17-year-old was offered a contract by Tottenham following a successful trial. The player was signed from demoted League Two club Notts County. Etete scored twice in a trial game against West Ham in the U18 Premier League in March 2019. He was born to a Nigerian father and English mom. Etete joined Notts County at the age of fourteen, rising through the ranks before making his first team debut in a Checkatrade Trophy clash against Newcastle United U21 in October 2018. https://dailypost.ng/2019/06/07/transfer-tottenham-sign-nigerian-striker/amp/ 4 Likes |

elyte89:wish I was there...to beat him up. when he missed that glorious chance against man city...he never knew that miss alone ruled him out of afcon he denied Rohr compatriot the chance to win the EPL |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Barryseal: 10:29pm On Jun 09, 2019 |
TheGoodJoe: Why won't he have a poor run when Dortmund sold their best players every season to Bayern Munich. You don't eat your cake and have it. Even with the poor run, he still finished in Europa cup places. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 10:33pm On Jun 09, 2019 |
Barryseal: Did I disagree with your point? The main point is about good coaches having poor stints and Klopp falls under that radar. Not if he was sacked or not. It is either he had a poor stint or not. Finito. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 10:35pm On Jun 09, 2019 |
Barryseal: Still concurring with me. Rodgers losing Suarez was a massive blow that affected the team. Finito. |

TheGoodJoe: Your initial post I quoted, you said he was sacked. I wanted to correct that impression because that was false information. Again, I repeat, Klop wasn't sacked by Dortmond .

TheGoodJoe:Oga, I don't know anything about Rogers and your argument about him. You made a wrong statement about Klopp which I corrected. That's all. |

Barryseal: I get your point but from the post highlighted, you can see the point was about good coaches having poor stints. Thanks for the correction and duly noted. |

Danielnino00: Rodgers has been doing it for too long to ruin his name in less than a year. His Swansea team was sharing passing stats with the best teams in the league. |
