A toks 2003 Corolla cost 1.8-2m and a 2nd hand value of 1.2-1.4 with a value drop of 400-800k

A toks 2003 Civic cost 1-1.2m and a second hand value of 400-600k with a value drop of 400-800k.

Tell me whats the difference? You Corolla guys cannot be objective for reasons best known to you guys. You think Corolla is the best but other far less expensive cars can be as profitable and require less capital at the same time.

A toks 2003 camry is 1.5-1.6 while a smaller 2003 corolla is 1.8-2m. An accord is 1.4-1.5 toks while Civic is 1-1.2. Cant you see that Corolla is a over priced car and is a waste of monetary value.

I have done a few impromptu races with them on 3mb.... I can attest That the acceleration is spot on but in the end I lose them with just a faint hint of my taillights!

As I was trying to encourage my colleague that almost lost her mirror @ canaanland on a Monday ..... another colleague who repainted his vehicle recently decided to park his ride outside the office so he could leave early.
same day BRO, same day!
by 7pm, his drivers mirror was nowhere to be found... door was almost open....

the security guys on watch that day are still answering for it.... they will probably lose their jobs or pay for the damage

Driving a Corolla have its HIGHs and LOWs.

There are certain part of Lagos that I wouldn't personally drive my vehicle to. I would rather take a UBER or las las take a bus.

lolz highest I've done is 190km/hr on my trusty Camry or vvti as the wise one pointed out.

but I still struggle with 120 in a corolla, at least the last one I drove.... the sound of the engine was almost deafening.....

Personally the only issue i have with that corolla is the price in naija!!!

For me that corolla is a minature big for nothing Expensive... Like shrinked/stripped down version damn overpriced compared to Honda.. So why should i pay more for Corolla when I can buy Honda for less, that is what i can't get my head around.. Instead i will pay less for more(camry Accord or Civic) You don't like Toyota remember.

When i was looking for a car to buy.. I was actually looking for the 07 & above Corolla civic, but unfortunately that was when uber was booming so suddenly the civic Corolla price went up and i like what!!!!! Never!!! I can't pay that much for civic Corolla, upped downed my budget a little & went for a full option accord instead

Haba, stop downgrading Corolla oooo.

Life just start at 120 if you get a good and well maintained Corolla with sound engine. Although I wouldn't race a MB, Audi, BMW or Range Rover with a Corolla but with Honda Accord before you get to the finish line, Accord go get "LEG PULL" midway.

Before early January this year, I would give you a chase but now I am born again. I don't exceed (80 - 100). Life is FUN why rush it.

My old Nissan Almera N15 SR20 GTI would flog an 03 corolla.
A civic hatchback with the Vtec punch would dust the corolla.
A Peugeot 307 would destroy a Corolla.
All this are small overlooked hatchback that would kiss a corolla goodbye if we really want to compare power to weight ratio.
Corolla drivers drive as if they own the road and it's so annoying.
Corolla is just too over hyped, even the sports variant.

Someone who has/had golf 3 with good engine and manual transmission and has tried revving till 7000/7500/8000rpm while on gear 1 and swiftly shifting to gear two without reducing acceleration, should please testify....
