guy you are completely wrong even if the girl came to your house stark naked spread eagle on your doorstep as long as she has not given you consent you have absolutely no right to touch whether she is tempting you or not.

if you cooked a delicious plate of food would you be happy if i ate your meal without your permission and i justify it by saying "i'm hungry na! and you tempted me by cooking this food"

dude for real change that mindset it's totally wrong

I think women should be blamed for about 80% of rape cases...
come on, u wore tight mini skirt and start working seductively shaking ur bumbum.what was ur intention if not to get noticed? Me wey dey look u,my body no be fire wood. Food wey person no go eat, person no go smell am...as u don forcefully put the food inside my nose,u think I will not want to see how it taste even if it require force? If women can start dressing responsibly, rape go reduce. .

In the spirit of the upcoming AFCON i have done some research on the title hopefuls most expensive line-ups. No particular formation used, just most expensive 11 players possible to have on the pitch at the same time. Thought i would throw in England as well to spice up the inevitable arguments that will start grin

Enjoy

First up,
Algeria
Cameroun
Egypt
Ghana

the problem with your initial post is that you are blaming the victim instead of condemning the rapist 100%.

it's like you are wealthy and you flaunt your money a kidnapper intimidated by your wealth now attacks you. should we now blame you for having money because your attacker lacks self control?

I have female siblings and i wouldn't pray for such to happen to them so I dare not blame the victims. Am just implying that if indecency sometimes leads to rape.
There are better ways to flaunt your money without you being attacked.

Can someone explain why

I. A woman raped in the field should not be killed alongside the rapist?

I I. But A woman raped in the city should be killed alongside the rapist?

......according to the Bible?

If you know, you can distinguish between rape and blackmail.

A man should be able to control himself.

Absolutely but common sense says anything you can do to reduce your chances of being a victim, do it. Our parents warn us of not passing some areas after dark, at a time in osodi or even now don't make calls close to the windows in a bus, it would be snatched, don't enter buses or cabs along the express but in the park(one chance).
In fact almost all precautionary actions we take for personal safety is to reduce the likelihood of being a victim. So I can advice my kids to be careful who they associate with, where they go, what time and what they wear. As a parent you chastise your kids, if anything happens to them because they failed to listen, that means they some level of blame.

Jacobs daughter Dinah was raped because she kept associating with the ungodly daughters of canaan and met Shechem.

It is assumed that even when a woman in the field screams and shout, she can't be heard and so no rescuer or evidence that she was complicit in action, but a woman in the city when she screams, she can be heard and that would serve as evidence that she didn't consent... But that is bible times, you can be raped in the cities now while everyone goes their way and our house now, you can scream and no one comes to your rescue or even deny hearing, or blame you for just being there.

Ghana got players but they fumble

yep morocco, senegal and egypt (home advantage factor) are hot favourites Nigeria and CIV have the talent to go far. ghana and cameroon a bit depleted talent wise but have the experience and pedigree to go all the way. the rest are coming to mark register

Exactly! Even till date, if you are raped today and you refuse to report the rapist immediately (as soon as the act was done) then you enjoyed it. You ought to go jail for blackmail.

But unfortunately, you see people allege they were raped 5 years ago or 10 years ago. That's what I don't understand.

If you never enjoyed the 'rape' you suppose voice out immediately even after the incident.

I think people should be educated about this because some just keep quiet due to ignorance.

This is wrong, you might be raped and not know it until years later, maybe a video came out and you saw it, you might be raped and so afraid of your accuser and kept quiet, you might be raped and you kept silent forever but it does not mean you enjoyed the rape. In fact, a rape is a rape, whether you enjoyed it is inconsequential, if you force-feed me with sugar, sugar will always taste sweet but that does not mean it was not wrong or tat I wanted it

Not every victim is able to report immediately. It would be ideal if they could but people have legitimate reasons for not doing so. Some people are afraid of the rapist, some are in a position where the rapist has control over them, some of them are afraid for their reputations, and some of them are afraid of comments like this that tell them that because they kept quiet they must have enjoyed it.

I would normally want to focus on football as the forum is where we get updates however I would like to clear a WRONG NOTION THAT A WOMAN IS AT FAULT FOR BEING RAPED BECAUSE SHE WORE SKIMPY CLOTHES. THAT IS A VERY WRONG POINT OF VIEW AND MUST NEVER BE ENCOURAGED NO MATTER THE SITUATION. IF YOU HAVE THIS TYPE OF MINDSET THEN I SUGGEST YOU PRAY AGAINST IT AND EDUCATE YOUR CHILDREN ABOUT IT. FOR THOSE SAYING THEY PROBABLY ENJOYED IT AND THAT IS WHY THEY DID NOT SEAPK UP, THEN YOU HAVE FORGOTTEN THE EMOTIONAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL PART OF RAPE. WE HAVE MOTHERS, SISTERS AND PROBABLY CHILDREN. DO NOT TEACH THEM THE WRONG IDEA THAT ANYONE ELSE IS TO BE BLAMED EXCEPT THE RAPIST. A RAPIST MUST BE CONDEMNED AT ALL COSTS.

Disgusting logic. If a woman doesn't give you permission to have sex with her - don't do it.
If she's too "seductive" - leave and save yourself the trouble.
