African football is really poor... This price money is too small.
Most African players earn far more than its being offered to Nations here.
Heck!.. Even iheanacho alone is worth $25M.
CAF should do better abeg
No club will offer more than €2m for him at present.
I suspect village people for the boy matter.

Exactly! Even till date, if you are raped today and you refuse to report the rapist immediately (as soon as the act was done) then you enjoyed it. You ought to go jail for blackmail.

But unfortunately, you see people allege they were raped 5 years ago or 10 years ago. That's what I don't understand.

If you never enjoyed the 'rape' you suppose voice out immediately even after the incident.

I think people should be educated about this because some just keep quiet due to ignorance.
this makes no sense

Forget the female victims for a moment, do you know how many men weee victims of rape and sexual abuse as children? Do you know how many boys that have been defiled by one aunty, housemaid, sister, or even an uncle?

How many of these men voice out their experiences? Do you think they enjoyed being molested and touched inappropriately as little boys just because they said nothing? Do you know how many damaged men we have, walking around and looking fine, but are psychologically traumatised and don't even know it?

The first misconception people have of rape, is that only women can be victims, and this is erroneous. Men are suffering inside, they are being eaten up slowly by the trauma someone they trusted, foisted upon them when they were too little to decipher wrong from right. Do you now say, that these men enjoyed the time spent with their molesters? Did the little boys that were molested by Catholic Priests in Ireland, enjoy it? Is that why it took so long for these atrocities to come to light?

This analogy is wrong and holds no water in today's society

This analogy is wrong and holds no water in today's society

if we really wanna look at the meaning of rape...you will find out that most Nigeria men are rapists including the married men...
even some ladies encourage rapes...

how do ladies encourage rape?

if as a man you believe that when romancing a woman and trying to put her in the mood for sex even to the extent of fingering her...
you interpret her STOP IT PLS as STOP I LIKE IT...then you're a rapists....

most Nigeria ladies and men have a very bad sexual orientation...reason why a lady can't open up to her man especially for the first time they will be having sex that she is really in the mood for it...as a result during romance instead of her to allow the man to do his thing..... she don't often wanna appear cheap...she try say STOP IT..even deep inside her she wants him to continue...

should a man stop by heading to her words or facial look...she will see him as a green leaf....this has happened to me severally.
to be honest I don't understand Nigeria ladies at all....

they always think that expressing their sexual needs to their man for the first time means or will make the man to tame them cheap and spoilt...of which is not true.

I have had such issues... even then many guys I know had to start tell me...you really have to force a woman for the first time...then every other time will become normal
It hurts me because I can't do that...
and when you apologize to this ladies afterwards for touching them inappropriately they laugh and see you as naive.....

if we must go by that standard...any man who continues to Romance and forcing in on a woman in such circumstances is a RAPIST..and any lady that foolishly say STOP IT while in the senses she wants it...is a PARTNER TO RAPE.
RAPE IS A COMPOUND WORD that we should look into holistically

This is wrong, you might be raped and not know it until years later, maybe a video came out and you saw it, you might be raped and so afraid of your accuser and kept quiet, you might be raped and you kept silent forever but it does not mean you enjoyed the rape. In fact, a rape is a rape, whether you enjoyed it is inconsequential, if you force-feed me with sugar, sugar will always taste sweet but that does not mean it was not wrong or tat I wanted it

Fine! If there is a video evidence, no problem.

But how can you be raped and not know instantly or after few months?

Even if you are drugged, you will know due to some changes in you but if not then there is no case.

Howevee, there should be no excuse whatsoever for not reporting a rapist because if you fail to do so when you are conscious of the act then it becomes consent in law due to the principle of Volenti non fit iniuria which shall be invoked by a defendant.

This is the reality and the principles of law. People should exploit it so it will enable justice instead of blackmail.

how does it encourages bad eggs PLS. Simply because I opined that seductive dressings sometimes attract rapist and women should try and dress responsibly.

Men can also voice out. It's not restricted to only a female victim.

But If a man is raped and he doesn't report the case, he enjoyed it.

I am not talking about little boys here but about some women who later come out and claim they were raped after the incident had happened several years back even when they were conscious and matured enough as at the time the incident happened.

Neymar case and several other cases comes to mind and serves as a pointer to false rape allegations.

Woman are now using this rape issue as an avenue to blackmail and defraud their innocent victims. This is my point.

In case you are not aware, I quoted a Bible verse but if you say God no get sense, na you sabi. grin

However, a Jewish boy or girl must be taught about this law from early childhood and they are aware of it. Even till date, the Jewish still practice this same law.

Now, I am very much aware of boys as a victim of rape but how you want to define rape in this case? Give instances.

You who defends rape needs that healing more. In
saner climes you'll be followed up and arrested as a likely accessory to rape. Thanks for your time.

guy it's not as simple and straight forward as you are trying to paint it. the r kelly, bill cosby and harvey weinstein cases shows your point holds no water.

saying "why did the victim not voice out therefore she/he enjoyed it" is wrong because rape apart from being a physical violation is psychologically scarring for the victims as well. some voice out immediately some bottle things up.

now i'm not disputing some people will deliberately lie to tarnish someone's reputation and that is why we have the judicial system that guarantees innocence until proven guilty. it is this right of defence that neymar and CR7 are currently enjoying

Not every victim is able to report immediately. It would be ideal if they could but people have legitimate reasons for not doing so. Some people are afraid of the rapist, some are in a position where the rapist has control over them, some of them are afraid for their reputations, and some of them are afraid of comments like this that tell them that because they kept quiet they must have enjoyed it.

In the case they refuse to report to the authority, it becomes consent. Every victim of rape are protected by law in a sane society.

There should be no excuses whatsoever.

the word RAPE is broad...
sometimes we narrow it to what we see as generally tipped to be wrong but in the true sense......
no man should go on force a woman or continue when say STOP.

lol...when did the meaning of rape now become restricted?

rape is rape...irrespective of the culture or religion involved....

a man rapes his wife...if he penetrates her or continue romancing her to put her in the mood even when he said NO... or STOP.
she is a human and not a commodity...she has feelings and emotions...

there basic things to put your wife in the mood for sex and not to start force her at night...
