Taliban: True. Gustav lately has just been trying hard to reinvent his image into something of a clown-villainish character, like Afobear my guy. I noticed he even started copying Afobear's trademark "averaaaaageee teeeam" and so on. I wonder what he hopes to gain from it. Attention?, or is it just the childish trait of enjoying being the target of everyone's hate?. I wonder. Anyways, if e no be Afobear, e no fit be like Afobear. NB: Sir Gustav, please don't respond to this with an insulting post. I won't dignify you with a response. Namaste. 2 Likes |

Truidstar: Bro, the talk here tire me oh. Like seriously, weeks to Afcon and with the coach confirming that we will be playing a 3-5-2 formation all them still dey talk here na Senegal get better players pass Ivory Coast, are you for real? By now we should be deep into analysis, playing a 3-5-2 formation does it not automatically mean that Samu will sit on the bench through the tournament? Because I don't see where he fits. Playing a 3-5-2 also means either Ighalo or Oshimen will start and not both, Rohr will favour Ighalo, does that leave Oshimen on the bench? Should Iwobi start in our midfield since we have seen that a 3-5-2 needs plenty of runners, ball carriers/shuttlers and energy in the middle and Mikel will not bring any, do we play Iwobi too who is also not an engine room nor a ball carrier? If it will be a 3-5-2 what exactly is Shehu doing in the Afcon? There are only 4 CBs in the team and the formation requires 3 CBs at a time, given Leon's injury record was it wise dropping Ajayi for Shehu? Who will play in the hole right behind the striker? Apart from Musa, who else can comfortably play there? These are some of the tactical discussions we used to have back then, now it is just rape talk and which team has the better players as if that will help us win any trophy or improve our chances. Anyways Bro, I dey just dey wait for Afcon proper and Copa America 8 Likes 1 Share |

Per the numerous training session of the Super Eagles of Nigeria Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal that some players have already seal their position in the starting eleven. Newly signed Torino defender Ola Aina has dust himself up from the disappointment of missing out in the squad for the 2018 World Cup in Russia by making the right back spot his own. Same can be said about Jamilu Collins at left back, a role Aina can also play. However in the absence of Tyrone Ebuehi it’s Aina that has won the battle to be first choice right back ahead of Shehu Abdullahi. Samuel Chukwueze has also picked up the role of one of the three players in attack where he will likely play with the duo of Ahmed Musa who will operate from the left with Odion Ighalo as top striker despite the fine form of Paul Onuachu in training. In goal is where the biggest shock has been noticed by our correspondent as former number one Daniel Akpeyi who dropped to third choice during the World Cup in Russia appears to have displaced Francis Uzoho as first choice. Uzoho’s lack of game time has somehow affected his sharpness leaving coach Gernot Rohr with no option but drop him as number one and when the number two Ikechukwu Ezenwa picked up an injury, Akpeyi seized the chance. So far Akpeyi has impressed in training and would likely be in goal at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations unless something happen in the next few days, which is highly unlikely considering the fact that Ezenwa won’t take part in the friendly game against Senegal. |

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Curtisaxel7(m): 8:18pm On Jun 11, 2019 |
Mickael2: My guess is that Rohr will start with the 4-3-3 and then change to 3-5-2 in the knockout stages when we face the big boys. You have made a good observation, 3-5-2 means our darling Chukwueze won't play. Unless we will start him as a strike partner to Ighalo, and given Musa's performance in that role at the WC, I think the Musa-Ighalo strike pairing has come to stay. Anyways, I think 4-3-3 is a sure bet for the group stage matches at least, if Chukwueze makes a huge impression, Rohr may be forced to pick him ahead of Musa to pair Ighalo in attack when he reverts to 3-5-2 in the knockout stages. Otherwise, Samu may have to sit it out like Iwobi at the WC. Sadly. That's the way it is. |

realpoacher: Where did I justify false accusation? What, in my post, justified false accusation? Who was falsely accused that I have supported the accuser? Don't come here and put words in my mouth, because I will easily point you to many times I have spoken against women who falsely accuse men I do not take it lightly when people just come here and throw random accusations at me because of whatever reason. Who was accused and I stood with the accusers? Tell me, or don't you ever quote me to type rubbish again. I am strongly against false accusations, or should I show you an entire thread where I dragged a woman for falsely accusing a man of rape? Have you not seen where I have repeatedly stated that these women are karashikas? Did I call them misunderstood, model citizens? Did I venerate any of them? Don't provoke me for nothing. You have never quoted me when I insult women here, but you quote me to lay all your misconceptions on my post because you want to collect likes If you cannot understand someone, ask for clarification or jump and pass. |

safarigirl: Mbaye Diagne tore Turkish Super lig with goals and people aren't really hyping him like that Ismaila Sarr that was once Europa league player of the week and made Europa league first eleven this season, nobody is really hyping him The hype doesn't really matter, it's the quality. Cornet and Sarr were among the best wingers in Ligue One this season |
