U.S.-Africa Business Summit, June 18-21, 2019 Maputo, Mozambique. 12 other Presidents of African countries are invited.

Corporate Council on Africa, in partnership with the Government of Mozambique, will host the 12th US – Africa Business Summit in Maputo on June 18-21, 2019. The Summit will bring together more than 1,000 U.S. and African private sector executives, international investors, senior government officials and multilateral stakeholders.
Twelve African Heads of State are confirmed as speakers at the Summit taking place at the Joaquim Chissano International Conference Centre.

Among them are:
H.E. Filipe Nyusi, President, Republic of Mozambique,
King Mswati III, Kingdom of Eswatini;
H.E. Paul Kagame, President, Republic of Rwanda;
H.E. Hage Geingob, President, Republic of Namibia;
H.E. Uhuru Kenyatta, President, Republic of Kenya;
H.E. José Mário Vaz, President, Republic of Guinea-Bissau;
H.E. Peter Mutharika, President, Republic of Malawi;
H.E. Edgar Lungu, President, Republic of Zambia;
H.E. Mokgweetsi Masisi, President, Republic of Botswana;
H.E. Emmerson Mnangagwa, President, Republic of Zimbabwe;
H.E. Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, President, Republic of Equatorial Guinea;
H.E. Ruhakana Rugunda, Prime Minister, Republic of Uganda.

Senior U.S. Government officials from key U.S. agencies including the Department of Commerce, OPIC, Department of State, MCC, USAID, USTDA, EX-IM and others will also be at the Summit and will announce the latest developments in U.S.-Africa.
Themed “Advancing a Resilient and Sustainable Partnership”, CCA’s 2019 Summit will engage key U.S. and African government officials and decision makers to discuss their strategies, vision and initiatives to facilitate increased business and investment. The Summit will provide several opportunities for business executives to meet heads-of-state, ministers and high-level U.S. and African government decision makers to advocate for their business interests.

Nigeria is not doing business with US or UK or EU again. We are doing business with China. Simple. China gives us loans and take part in using the loans in building roads, rail ways, power plants and other infrastructure. But US, EU, UK give us loans and open accounts in their countries for our leaders to steal and keep the loans borrowed so that our children's children will be paying loans while they use the same money to develop their countries.

Buhari has said enough is enough, you cannot be keeping stolen money for our politicians and be borrowing us our stolen money at high interests. Nobody will keep stolen money in China or have you heard any? China is quick to executive corrupt politicians.

So US, EU, UK are all bitter that Buhari no send them. We no dey borrow money from the West again. Keep your money, sorry our money which you are keeping for our corrupt politicians.

US is a major player and world economic powerhouse. If you doubt me pls ask China,North Korea, Japan, Mexico, Venezuela, Iran,India, Europe etc. You align with people or countries who has the wherewithal to navigate you from the economic & security quagmire you're in. A thread titled China Huawei produced 1 million phones was posted and same people went all out to support china and call America all sorts of names. They even said they will rather buy china phones even if it is without facebook, google applications like they are another lost tribe from China. These same people are now the one deriding Nigeria and President Buhari by using invitation from US to validate Nigeria's standing among comitee of African Nations.

My question now is, what exactly do you people want? When America is taking shots at China, you blast America and call them all sorts of names. When same America takes a shot at Nigeria and President Buhari(okay let's call the non invitation that way for the sake of argument),you go all out to support America and say all sorts of degrading things about Nigeria. What exactly do you people want. Eldorado? I hope Biafra gives you just that.

What I know for sure is America never forgive Nigeria for the money-swap initiative Nigeria has with China. They reckon that if this policy eventually become law, other African Nations will follow suit and the dollar will to a large extent loose international edge and value. If those are reasons Nigeria is not invited, then we are truly on the right path. However if it is just for pure technical reasons which makes Nigeria disadvantaged, then we owe it to ourselves to make Nigeria attractive to these initiatives and that is what we should be clamouring for.

Most of these countries are either of Eastern or Southern Africa.
Like 90% of the listed.
Only Guinea Bissau I'd say is from West Africa.
