Unlimitk:What determines nominal GDP is those three sectors, Services which contributed more, followed by industrial sector and Agriculture, Anambra gave Ogun large gap in service sector which contributed 67 % in nominal GDP 3 Likes |

TundeBricklayer:Sometimes when u talk, its as if u purposefully act ignorant Now lemme break down what u wrote Out of the three sectors, services contributed 67% of d GDP,being d sector contributing d most Now u said anambra generated more in services sector because that's d only sector u are bragging with, ignoring d other sectors anambra failed woefully Now inin services sector Abuja and kano contributed more than anambra, u didn't see those ones Now I told u d services sector was based on population because more working ppl, more services created D same reason oyo was above ogun and ondo in services sector was of,u guessed it,population Oyo failed woefully in other sectors like anambra but came above ogun and ondo in services sector, y do u think so? Now anambra contributed 1.8trillion naira in services sector, now that's nice Oyo contributed 1.4 trillion naira Ogun contributed 1.2 trillion naira Ondo contributed 1.09 trillion naira more than akwa ibom,a supposedly rich oil state Now would u say ondo is better than akwa ibom on that basis, if u say no,then u are a hypocrite I hate having to school u like primary school children |

Re: States Nominal Gross Domestic Product (2013 – 2017) - PHASE II by Anambralstson: 8:35am On Jun 12, 2019 |
Unlimitk:I can see you are blind Tell me how Anambra failed in other sectors Being only state indigenous are playing major role in all sections, check out industrial sector and Agriculture, from the table Ogun and Ondo gave Anambra gap industrial sector, Anambra is more industrialised than Ondo, it's just because Ondo is Oil producing state, in real industrialization which contributed 18% to nominal GDP Anambra is below Ogun in industrial sector, the gap is not much and industries in Anambra are largely owned by Anambarians, Ogun is just benefiting from Lagos spillover, Anambra developed it Markets and industrial sector, Anambra is second smallest state in landmass after Lagos but they are doing credibly well in Agriculture more than states with big landmass, Niger, Oyo, Kano and what have you, Anambra is major commercial rice, yam and cassava producing state, Agriculture account for 15% in nominal GDP check the table to see how the states are fairing 5 Likes

Anambralstson:I could care less who owns industry, all I Care about is its impact I mean look at akwa ibom with highest unemployment in Nigeria same with rivers I want impact not numbers Those two oil rich states just have oil, how does d oil benefit d masses of rivers and akwa ibom directly Also Yorubas also have industries owned by Yorubas,I'm sure u are not dumb to believe only igbos have industries in Nigeria |

Unlimitk:The figures for Rivers, Delta, Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom and Ondo states are not the real figures on ground. Imagine companies drill oil, pipe it down to a collection point, ships are there to receive the oil, money paid to the federal government and the figures added to your GDP based on the volume of oil drilled in your state, makes no sense. No active economic activity going on, just drill oil and the federal government gets the money but the money or figures are imputed for the state. Aside Ondo and Rivers, the other oil producing states are not productive 1 Like |

Re: States Nominal Gross Domestic Product (2013 – 2017) - PHASE II by Yyeske(m): 9:30am On Jun 12, 2019 |
Unlimitk:Don't jubilate yet because much of the GDP for Ondo was from industry which oil production is among. This was why Bayelsa that produces almost nothing is higher than Anambra because it produces oil and the money doesn't even enter the local economy but straight to the federal government. |

Re: States Nominal Gross Domestic Product (2013 – 2017) - PHASE II by Unlimitk(m): 9:42am On Jun 12, 2019 |
Yyeske:But in agriculture ondo is 1.2 trillion naira In services ondo is 1.01 trillion naira, higher than akwa ibom In industry it's 678 billion naira Ondo has industry beside oil I know, so I think without oil, ondo is 300 billion naira So in reality ondo GDP Is 2.6 trillion naira Is that still not good? |
