You didn't understand the post! Church marriage certificate are of two types. The one issued in the name of the church and the other one issued by the church on behalf of the govt under the marriage act. What was presented was the former, what you likely have is the latter. Hope it's clear now. My advice, get a documentary evidence from the church that they have been in custody of your govt issued certificate since you married and that what was given to you earlier was the marriage blessing certificate. This way, the VO won't start thinking you've gone to procure a certificate as an afterthought. dmydee: 9 Likes 2 Shares |

With 460, me think writing ielts is a waste of money. Gnomic5: 7 Likes |

urblackpearl: My exact thoughts too. But on this journey time is of the essence. Who knew two months ago that we would be contending with a draw as high as 470. If all he needs to do is to get the bearest minimum to increase the score she can always continue to persuade him so he can write ASAP, but if he has written before and he would need to max out on spousal point I feel waiting till July when he will be psychologically ready will be the best way to go. Hopefully, the coming draws will have come down below 460 before he enrols for the exam. British council and IDP no worth make we dey gift dem money anyhow with how them dey do us for Writing module of their exam . cc:@gnomic5 6 Likes |

Topsmamen: Don't you think 1114 is better suited? I think 6235 should be a fit for a bank marketer and not trade services officer 3 Likes

Hello house. Please i need a clarification. I have gone through alot of threads but it still isn't clear. My spouse is going to be the PA with LOC 2131, 4 years work experience with ND, HND and BSC and will be 32 this month. My questions goes thus: 1. I understand that doing my ECA will add to his points. Now, do I have to create my ECA acct seperately where I would be required to pay 220CAD and then go through the process of WES which will cost approx 23,00 and 82,600 in total... And then he he would also go through same procedure spending same amount? Ie in total we shall both be spending close to 165k for ECA alone. Now this is not inclusive of transcript for both of us. So please, am confused as we are talking about 200k here. Do we have to spend this much on ECA alone. Your responses will be highly appreciated. |

Hello friends, I'd like to confirm something. I was doing some readin and i fame across the concept of "tie break" in ITA stage. I understand there's a date after which only applicants with high enough score who submitted before that date would get ITA. Wes informed my eca would be ready on 21st. I feel next ita woukd be 26th june. Considering my ielts scores, i shld be in the 478mark. But im scared my eca might not meet up with the tie break. Can i open an ee profile b4 eca comes out |

dmydee: From a registered church...yes. I should have added that anecdote. We need to differentiate between churches (e.g Catholic church) that have legal backing and the one-man church on your street corner that conducted your marriage. A marriage certificate from Assemblies of God church for instance, will not be accepted by CIC. The only church I know that has legal backing is the catholic church and I dont know of anyone personally who has gotten PPR by only submitting a church issued marriage certificate but I can give you instances of people who have been refused on this issue. Even in Canada, the church will marry you but the official marriage certificate is issued by the government. |

Greetings Having been a die-hard 9ja fan for 33yrs of my life, I call it quit today. Please guys, put me through on how to start my own journey as a total novice. Tried reading the last 10pages but I get abbreviations like NOI, NOC, WES ECA PPR etc Tried the calculation thing and landed at 450 using 8,7,7,7 as ielts score for both me and my wife. I'm a pharmacist, 33yrs married with a kid, over 5yrs work experience. Can a kind hearted fellow take the pains of giving me a step by step procedure or point me to a page(s) to read Thanks |
