First how would I know the quanties and prices when all the cassava your produce - you allegedly eat - after buying from informal buyers market - and yet when we examine malnutrition(a scientific process involving weighing and measuring Nigerians) - you're malnourished.

You agriculture data is cooked. Your ministry of agriculture doesn't have the data. Nobody knows where the data comes from.

For instance you claim to produce and eat about 35M metric tonnes of cassava. You export nothing. Even Congo export cassava. How much Cassava is that per Nigerian.

The same crazy figures are alleged in rice, yams, sorghum, millet, maize and name it. How much food do you guys eat and why is there so much malnutrition - 2nd worst in the world.

And that is GENESIS OF YOUR COOKED GDP that generate zero taxes.

Kenya you've got RELIABLE & CREDIBLE data - of formerly marketed goods - and exported - our agriculture contribute about 20% of tax revenues.

I mean in Kenya we eat Ugali (maize meal) every day as our staple food - and use it to feed cows - and we are fine with 3.5M metric tonnes - you don't eat ugali - but you claim to produce 11m metric tonnes - you claim to eat like 10M metric tonnes of rice (we do with 0.7M metric tonnes) - you claim to eat lots of wheat, yams (crazy), sorghum, plantain, name it.

Multiplying Q*P is no effort. Trusting the source of the figures is where your minister of agriculture collapsed. Last when he was asked about rice production figures that didn't make sense - he quoted indeximulli.

I mean let look at rice for example. You're still biggest world importer of rice - and yet you claim to produce what 7-8M metric tonnes of rice.

The questions is when you entire agriculture is informal - how do you come up with production data - if not guesstimate and cooking.

In fact once we unravel where you get your agricluture data - we will have unravel the cooked nigeria GDP.

You're darting around the issues. Kenya agriculture and it's entire GDP is verifiable.

The issues for example is how do you know how much cassava you produce.

You GDP will not make sense. This is an academic pursuit to help you understand what your Gov is doing to you.

It's not money in the bank. Your revenues are very shameful. Outside Oil - you got nothing.

So help us understand how you come up with production figures for crop production.

That is where we start. In kenya we have crop production boards. We also have verifiable export data. We also have verifiable formally marketed products. For example Maize - our gov buys 1-2m bags every year and stores them in strategic reserve. We have formally processed milk. We know how many flowers get flown daily to Europe. The same for nearly every crops.

You tell us that you do farm and market surveys? or how do you know how much cassava, or rice, or name it where produced - when nearly all of it is produced, consumed by the farmers and little sold in markets.

I am only short of time - because every time we ask about your nigeria data - you'll bring up kenya data. I mean GDP of 50B cannot possibly be launching 31B dollar national budget in the next 20 mins

Your GDP cooking start from the startling agricultural data.

Again I will ask you to help us with methodology here; the source of data; and then we can begin doing the computation.

You food imports is dead give away that your productions figures are faked. You cannot fake that because other countries are reporting what they export to Nigeria.

You lack of food exports - outside cocoa and shrimps - maybe rubber, timber & lumber - is also a dead give away. You cannot cook that because the importers have to declare in their countries what they imported.

You can heckle, try to evade the questions but WE WILL BE HERE FOR LONG HAUL.THe questions is simple. WHAT THE SOURCE OF YOUR AGRICULTURE DATA. Pick any crop.

What cheap talk. You know when I saw Nigeria GDP figures - I was doubtful - because everything else was OFF- then I took my time - and I figured out I will start with biggest elephant in the room. Agricluture is nearly 1/4 of Nigeria GDP - about 100B dollars (Incredulously one of world HIGHEST) - and so it easy to focus on it - it very simple production figures * prices.

Oil figures are easy - Algeria and Angola produce around the same barrels per day - 2m - and we know it's exported commodity - so easy to verify.

Cocoa - also is easy to verify - you export all the beans.

Now our problem is where do you get the figures for yams, cassava, maize, rice, sorghum, millet, plantains? The figures I have seen are all estimates...not a single precise figure..just WILD ESTIMATES.

Just direct us to where - and then help us with verification.

That is what we do in Kenya - KNBS - does cross-verification. They get data from ministry or agency or board - and they cross-verify.

I am convinced once we "solve" the crop & livestock production figures - we would have discovered the cooking that Yemi Kale does at Nigerian Stats office.
