safarigirl: Please get that I am not excited with Rohr’s system and I feel his system will be deterring to Nacho's progress. So I am not acting desperate or wishing Rohr gave Nacho a chance. If Rohr was a coach who plays in an expressive, possessive and offensive fashion, then I will feel bad. Unfortunately he doesn't. Why should Nacho's chance fall to a miss? It shows he did not have enough chances to excel. Playing few minutes in Rodgers system gave him a good chance. Five of those and KC might bury four. I was wondering why Rohr did not give Nacho a shot in the friendly and I felt it was to prevent a confusion from people criticising his choice. Not that I am saying Rohr should have played him. My expectation lies in Brendan Rodgers getting Nacho up to speed with his system and giving him run of games. As Rodgers said, when Nacho gets his chances, he will take it. |

TheGoodJoe: And if he fails to take his chances again, what would the excuses be? Remember it was Rohr at the helms when he was banging in goals for Nigeria at the start of his national team career. 7 Likes 2 Shares |

joseph1013: I already pointed out earlier Rohr lost his mojo after the loss to South Africa. He changed his strategy and started set up the team not to lose instead of to win. Thus it affected the offensive play of the team. Nacho is yet to fail with a run in an offensive system. I wonder where you got that again. When the run of games comes, he will take his chances. |

joseph1013: It does not happen by the snap of the fingers and Nacho is now with one of the masters of the system, Brendan Rodgers. No need to move but give the coach time. Nacho needs to focus on his development under the current manager. Finito. |

TheGoodJoe: FUCCCK Iheanacho. Iheanacho is not the only person in the team, football is a team sport, not an individual sport. if Iheanacho's progress is all that concerns you, tell him to go play tennis or golf, or a sport that will revolve around him. Which one is Rohr's style will be detrimental? Was it not under Rohr that he amassed ten goals in the GWG? Suddenly, the same coach has a style that will be detrimental to him? How? Rohr, Puel, Pep, soon, it will be Rodgers who should make tactical formations for Iheanacho. F.U.C.KKK Iheanacho 19 Likes 5 Shares |

safarigirl: Madam it seems you are concerned about the goal he didn't score against mancity ? So if he scored against mancity he has had a nice season and he will go to afcon abi just because he help Liverpool win the league ? Either kelechi scored against mancity or not it can't change the fact that he has been bad this season and he doesn't deserve afcon spot ,no need for all this your long talk of not scoring against city ,I can see why you are angry with him it's because of that goal My naija people I hail una o ,so a goal against mancity will send a player to afcon ? And it will make it a better season by making it 2 goals in 30 games ? 1 Like

joseph1013:Exactly what I was saying He was banging in goals under Rohr, suddenly the same coach doesn't have a style that suits the god that can do no wrong. Kelechi should get a coaching certificate, buy a team, and coach them, so that they will play in a manner that suits him, because at this point, there is no club or team that will play to his strength and even if there were, he wouldn't be good enough for them to consider him 1 Like |

andrew444: It was Onuachu's one goal that blew him into reckoning for AFCON, Idowu's goal against Argentina sent him to World Cup, Uchebo's goal sent him to World Cup, so yes, one goal can send you to AFCON But like I said, that chance that goodjoe said Kelechi deserved against Zimbabwe, he would have gotten it if he got that goal against City. That goal would have been the memory people have of him, because ir was a decider. The importance of that goal was enough to forgive most of his shitty season. You underestimate the importance of one goal. Maybe cuz you are attaching it to some other sentimental thoughts 6 Likes 3 Shares |

TheGoodJoe: Ur analogy of rohr system not favoring nacho to me is so myopic, normally when one expresses his point with gud english sentences, one will sound intelligent ,but na lie...safari gave a point of him scoring 10goals under rohr, den it was favourable, because he's no longer scoring, rohr system is no longer favourable He has played under 3different managers, pep, puel and now Rodgers...yet to u d system is not offensive enuf Oga make we hear word,u re not plausible with ur points,it's getting absurd,is he d only player in d team Its like saying a student who studied in University of Ibadan came out with third class, blaming d system for d failure,he took a new undergraduate course again in anoda african university, still came out with third class, tried another university in europe again, came out with third class again,is it d system u will still blame or d student? Maybe till when nacho plays in 7different clubs/leagues, he will get d right system 15 Likes 5 Shares |

do4luv14: In time past we have all agreed and linked early regression of our players to age cheating. But it now seems our problem is not just age cheating. The 2013 and 2015 were very young crops that we were really looking at to see if that trend of early regression will change but alas it is looking like the same old old story. 6 years after the 2013 boys played the U17 WC only Francis Uzoho, who was an unused substitute, is left in the Super Eagles team. And that one sef na manage because we lack credible options. The 2015 U17 has two, but hope they can maintain their development. Meanwhile there are several previous Eaglets generations that we tagged age cheats that still went further to provide quality players that played long for the national team. I remember my argument with TheSuperNerd like 4-5yrs ago: "Chemical reactions with the same reagents irrespective of the Catalyst will always give u the same product". There was this clamor then and push for many of those Manu/Amuneke boys to be pushed into the Super Eagles. Players that were not tested at senior professional level. Was I being too conservative? Now you be the judge. Moving forward after some of us have seen the career trends of many of those recent U17 stars are we still going to expect likes of Akinwunmi Amoo, Wisdom Ubani and Olusegun to be "World beaters", " New Ronaldo" , or "New Iniesta"? Our problem is not only age cheating but also our football development structure. You now understand why a club will value an average Brazilian, Spaniard or Argentine 17years old more than a 17yrs old Nigerian who just won an U17WC MVP. 2 Likes |
