Good afternoon house. Please, I just got a medical request for my application. However, the date available from Qlife is currently 2nd July after I sent them the request letter now. IOM is yet to get back to me. I don't know if anyone has an earlier date that was booked prior to the date that we can swap. Thank you. 1 Like |

jaybaby2017:Having gotten a medical request and updated passed plus biometric correspondence letter shows that your visa approval is almost near and certain. However, since you said you already have a UK Visitors visa for the proposed event which I believe the visa is already stamped on the passport you submitted to CIC. I will suggest you write them an email and explain the importance of the upcoming event to you and that all arrangement have been made to travel for the event, write it in a polite manner. If you have the photocopy of the UK visa and if you already booked your flight to UK attach those documents to the email, it could prompt them to process your visa faster because I believe it's 90% ready. 1 Like |

OptimusPrime21: That's the strategy i want to use now. I've secured admission for winter 2020, so my plan is to apply alone using my husband and kids as home ties, just don't want any mistakes this time. |

Please house is it compulsory to show landed property since i have my business registered under CAC . Is that not enough for family ties ? Though I have a land that was given to me from my dad as inheritance so I can't go that far to do the C of O which cost a lot and take years to get from the government. How will I use other means to add the land as home ties . Or other way I can package it with proof or I should go on with the business CAC certificate. 1 Like |

Ymin:The last time I checked seems you don't need to book an appointment for Children's practice clinic, all you need is get there as early as possible (7:00am). you can contact them to confirm |

Evankc:You can get any document to show the land belongs to you, doesn't have to be C of O. 2 Likes 1 Share |

oniwoski: Based on the provided details/information, your profile seems good. Since you already have a Bachelors and now going for a Diploma, make sure you do well to sound convincing on how its a progression to your reasonableness and endeavours in your SOP. Better yet, if you've not applied for the program, its best advised to go for a PGC/D or Advanced Diploma. Don't just submit documents, evidently connect the dots in your SOP Good luck! 1 Like |

mcobex: Hello Mcobex, Sometimes, transcript also play a part contribution in doing some easy/clear convicing especially in the situation were an applicant's prospect course or program shows no (direct) progression or in a perspective of trying to make a (an extra) convincing case or statement about certain areas of the applicant's academic performance or track record. It could also play a role of the applicant being seen as a genuine student if the VO decides to assess the applicant from an academic perspective, depending on the logical reasons or format the applicant use to build the application. BTW irrespective of the resources to get a transcript, in my personal opinion, i would advise applicants to not feel relunctant to include it even if people has gotten approval without including it. We never know the least document that might be the saving grace Respect! |

jaybaby2017: Anything can happen before 24the July, i think there is still time. If anybody gives you a direct answer to your question, it would be based on pure assumptions. You will get a response soon, just be hopeful. BTW try sending webforms and emails to London, Nairobi and Lagos if you've not done so. Good luck! |

chisongozi: Depending on the current status of your application, ghost update means they are working on your application and most times ghost messages always come out positive. It’s either medical request is coming or passport request is on the way. Based on my extensive research about ghost update, it always come out positive. There could be exemptions but I pray not in your case. |
