My people, abeg make una help me beg Mr Bashiru (xx) to verify my NTI (Teachers institute certificate) it's been 10weeks now... just to send an email to WES o. I have called, sent sms weekly, pleaded, even offered to pay anything. He speaks nicely and promises to do it then doesn't. Why does he want to hinder my progress na? I've been on Wes since October last year, that's 8months, all other documents evaluated except his. I don't know what to do anymore.
So you now decided that the solution is to come and post his number on a public forum for random people to disturb him with calls so he can verify the result of someone called 'onchekpa'?
I'm confused as to what you hoped to achieve here.

It is heartbreaking seeing people score high in LRS but fall short in writing.

If you've written more than twice with at most 6.5 in writing, you can send me a PM and I can help you review your letter and essay drafts and also make corrections where necessary. I am not a 'writing expert', just helping those in dire need to improve in the little way I can. I had 7.5 in my writing tests with both BC and MOD IDP.

Hello e-family, I am a silent reader on here. So now I need your assistance please. I would like to be the principal applicant for our family's application (husband and 3 children).

I studied Computer science but have 2 years work experience in customer service and banking respectively. Afterwards, I resigned to start a catering business so I have been a cook for more than 5 years at my own business. Unfortunately, I don't have a certificate to show that I am a qualified cook. How best do you advise I go about this? I would appreciate any help. Thank you

GTBANK and Firstbank cards work well. You have to be mindful of Firstbank though, I heard their rate is off the roof. While GT charges 276NGN per CAD, Firstbank's rate is over 280NGN.

He made a way. I am standing here only because He made a way.
Decision to migrate:
Hubby then friend started the paper based application in 2012 but at some point he lost interest and did not follow up.In 2016 we decided to start again.
PNP ROUTE
When he initially wrote ielts few times,we decided to try the pnp routes,SINP precisely.we submitted first time sometime in 2016 and we got the ineligible letter for NOC mismatch, we applied again almost immediately and this one took more than a year and when we had hope that we were almost there when we got the ineligible letter again and this time it was that our occupation was no longer in demand. At this point we decided that we die with IELTS and we must get it through EE direct
IELTS:
Hmm men and brethren IELTS dealt with us.
Hubby wrote this exam 15 times from 2016 till the breakthrough we had on the 5th of Jan 2019. Our conclusion is that this exam bodies are not credible as afar as Nigeria is concerned. There was a time he even got a call from someone that he has seen that he has written this exam so many times ,that he can help him if he is willing to pay.We were tempted but because we were believing God for a miracle we decided against this.
Why we came to the above conclusion wasn’t just about the call but about how his results played out.i wish we had kept the studs so you guys will understand better but most times he doesn’t pick them up after seeing the results online. The failures started with just listening initially then when he started paasing listening, they shifted it to writing and when he started passing writing they shifted to reading so what went wrong?
But I thank God that he didn’t give up.Jan 5th exam was the deal breaker LRWS 8,8,7,7.5.

ECA
He did wes for his masters in 2014 when he applied through the paper based. This wes expired in February this year which is one of the miracles God did for us cos it would have meant another evaluation had it been we hadn’t gotten ITA at the time we got it.

MEDICALS
This was quite straightforward.Qlife. we reside outside Lagos so we flew in on Sunday. We lodged close to the Hospital and got there first so we finished at about 10.00am and still got back to base same day

PROOF OF FUNDS(POF)
50% gift deed from family and 50% savings all invested in Stanbic Ibtc Mutual fund.
We submitted bank statement highlighting the inflows, stanbic ibtc statement and reference letter
EMPLOYMENT:
We used just one employment where he worked for 4 years. They didn’t give reference letter in CIC format rather they gave what is called work certificate but the only thing missing in it was the salary so we printed bank statement highlighting the salaries for some period . we also added employment letter, some certifications, boss id ,etc

ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS
We filled schedule A and additional information form upfront too

PCC:
We sent to his brother who was in Lagos at the time to help us do it.cost 10k for both of us

ADRs:
We were asked to submit a recent proof of residency as the one we submitted was dated 2017.That was breeze as the sister sent one immediately
We were also asked to submit a legal certificate of marriage as what we submitted was marriage blessing certificate.
I immediately came here to seek people’s opinion and got great ideas and advices .Thank you. That was deeply appreciated especially topeolu1 and ifeoma77 as I did exactly as they said.
We called the church (METHODIST)and realized two certificates are always issued ,the marriage blessing and the form E and we did not collect the form E as we wedded in another state so we travelled to where we wedded ,collected the form E and proceeded to stamp and register same at local govt.we also got the church to write us an LOE to back this up .We came back same day and submitted same day.

GCMS NOTES:
We ordered notes 13th of may which we got on the 11th of June ,only criminality and medicals passed so we concluded that we ordered too early.
CALLS

We called 3 times
First call was mid april criminality passed
Second call mid may criminality passed BG passed Eligiblity not started
Third call 11th june he initially said eligibility not started and later said Eligiblity started 12th April.
We got the ADR few hours after that call.

My brother and sisters this journey is really not for the faint hearted and for us it was God all the way. We completely put everything into his hands all the way through.
We had just finished our mid night prayers and hubby immediately checked his mail and saw the ready for visa mail.we prayed and believed cos I had seen the timelines of peeps that got ADR and most got PPR after a month but GOD did it and we got it after a day.
If you believe in GOD please trust Him completely and do not give up.

Ifeoma77:

In the GCMS, was there any mention of the need to interview you? That is likely the cause of the delay

@bukkie04
MamaAaron:
Just to help my fellow Canada family.
I and hubby did our NECO PROCESSING yesterday and below is the details

NECO PROCESSING DETAILS:

1) Go to www.remita.net generate a remita code using your exact name on your NECO certificate. NOTE: when you click on the remita link you would see a search button type in NATIONAL EXAMINATION COUNCIL it will take you the next page where you will be asked for
purpose select *confirmation * then it will generate the amount which is N5,000 complete the form and make payment. An email would be sent to you print out the remita receipt.
*You can do this number 1 before going to NECO OFFICE to save yourself stress*

2) when going to NECO's office go with 20,500(courier fee),1,500(scratch card), 3 photocopies of your NECO certificate, 1 print out of remita payment receipt.
3) NECO's office is at No,20 Coker street ilupeju Lagos it's on the left side of the road if you are driving because the road is one way. When you get there you would be asked to go to room 6 and ask of Mr. Omoyeni but before going to meet him take the remita payment receipt print out upstairs to change it to NECO receipt. Then you can now go to room 6, you would be given a form to fill where you would input your WES reference number and WES address. After filling you would be asked to make photocopy then you would go back to meet Mr. Omoyeni to submit that's all.
**** Due to the NECO examination that starts today your transcript would be sent to WES in 4weeks max because it's just one person that would be processing it but a tracking number would be sent to your email so ensure you fill in your details in the register with Mr. Omoyeni***
Thank you.
