For whatsapp issue, on Chinese rom, grant permission to whatsapp and Google service. It would immediately start working.

lol, you get time abeg, as long as it's samsung AMOLED that's all that matters grin he doesn't know you can tweak lcd to be close or better than OLED in terms of everything, Apple did it with their pro display, neither does he know that the fastest refresh rates out there is LCD, both tech has advantages and disadvantages but they wouldn't find out, they just believe AMOLED is the brightest grin grin
Abeg eh... Which pro display is better than Samsung amoled.
And how can u tweak ur lcd to have deeper blacks than amoled
And as for refresh rates, us it specific to screen technology wether ips or amoled
And is currently wat is the best mobile display technology.
Thanks.

Not only 710, there were host of others, I think only the flagships were Amoled

OLED produce deeper blacks than Amoled. Though Amoled has better refresh rates than OLED and IPS LCD. OLED offers higher contrast

check out Apple Pro display, It's possible bro. LCD has the potential just that Amoled is the way to go for smartphones as it can be thinner, flexible, which is what phone manufacturers prefer these days, don't forget battery advantage of dark mode too. HTC did this with SUPER LCD brand in there flagship phones then, which was very good, had lots of positive reviews, it was virtually like AMOLED for black and saturated also. It's not a new thing, a technology being generally accepted across board doesn't necessarily mean it's the best, the point is lcd is good, Amoled too is also good both have their drawbacks, let's not be confused and say Amoled is always the best, as for refresh rates AMOLED has up to 90hz or 90fps recently, 120hz, 144hz has being a thing for lcd for a while now, the smoothness of an higher refresh rate is something that cannot be explained. I've used a 144hz display on a gaming system before , even web scrolling is crazy smooth. I think I've been able to pin point strength and weakness of both displays now, at least to an extent smiley

Easy guys. You are making my a30 look inferior. Just chill guys. All we want is neutrality and we mustnt allow personal opinions lead to degrading samsung brands we prefer less and don't even have..
.
I own an A30
.
I own a mi max 3
.
I must confess that Redmi Note 7 is a better buy if you are looking at versatility, speed, better camera modes and overall beauty.
.
Samsung a30 is a step up of Samsung midrangers and has a cruising infinity display, a wonderful battery life (which bested my redmi note 5), a lovely user interface and the camera isn't bad either. It has better deals of warranty than the redmi here in Nigeria.
.
Both almost have same marched processor with SD getting an upper hand (which is only noticeable in playing high graphic games
.
Both have 4gb ram
Both have 64gb variant
Both have 4000 mah battery
.
With all these similarities, I wonder why some say they are incomparable.
.
Nothing wrong in laying it neutral and allow the buyer make his choice. We know some love the great ips screens. Well, k20 ain't stupid using their amelods as selling points and when you use Samsung ordinary amelod display in the a30, you will know why..
.

You just made me upgraded my plans from Redmi 7 to Redmi Note 7.

From all you've stated, although they are comparable but you did justice by saying the Note 7 is better.

I'm getting myself the Note 7 even if it's the 3/32.

Thanks.

All this Na English, you have not backed it up with any technical term grin

Brighter how many nits?
How accurate ?
On which devices did you compare?
Hehehehe most Amoleds are even known to have poor peak brightness, hardly achieve 450 nits.

Sorry bros, how many complain? Most of wetin u tag complain sef na result of ppl wen nr understand some things from their phone, miui na different Android soon from we tomorrow most ppl kw, it's like moving from say like windows to android for some, so dem need time to understand some things. As for rom this, rom that, bootloader unlock, etc, na for those went like tweaking, thank God say camera2api dey open by default for Redmi note 7, ur fear for increase because of the process some persons ready to take to get gcam, na for wetin ppl like u go think naim make dem try to discourage such discussions here and create another thread for tweaking.

Hello everyone please i need some help with making a decision. I'm currently using pocophone f1 phone, I love it so much, my most favorite features about xiaomi phone is the second space, it's so very important and helpful that I'm addicted to it, it has help me alot with police, friends that like using ur fone to snap n do things, I love giving them the second space, and they can't even notice, now my problem is that, I want to buy either Samsung s10+ or note 9..but I don't know if they have this features.. Does oneplus phones have this feature / waterproof ip68 also?I don't want to loose this features so does Samsung really have this feature, and secondly is there currently any xiaomi phone that is ip68 water resistant? Please i need answers and suggestions

Samsung and OnePlus don't have second spaces. Samsung has the secure folder which is basically like app lock. It's good but nothing special. Well OnePlus phones are water proof but they lack the official IP rating so as to reduce cost. Best to go with the Samsung flagships if you want official IP rating.
