Nah, 3gb is still okay.

Chrome, WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, Quora, Reddit

Those are the apps I lock to my RAM so 3gb RAM is perfectly okay.

OLED produce deeper blacks than Amoled. Though Amoled has better refresh rates than OLED and IPS LCD. OLED offers higher contrast
but brozz. please o... Amoled this, OLED that. Are people really thrilled with all this bullsh?t... good display is ok tho, am nt disputing ... but why do people stress over-hyping things too much... God don design our Eyes to even adapt and see things even when in darkness ... To me, phone performance is the priority.. LCD,OLED,AMOLED.. all na still display. and over-hyping is a bullsh?t

Actually both Oled and Amoled na essential for TVs and phones respectively. I doubt if u put Oled for phone.

LG used OLED on their phones, even the Huawei Mate 20 Pro/X and P30 pro came with OLED panels

exactly my point, HTC also did something like that also grin you have to be an enthusiast before knowing things like this, it's boring grin

Even on TVs Samsung's QLED, are actually an LCD technology.

Hehehehe most Amoleds are even known to have poor peak brightness, hardly achieve 450 nits.

The S10+ achieved between 739 nits on auto brightness, while manually around 358nits

I need a screen for my Redmi note 4x

Does anyone have a verified engineer or past experience in changing the screen without any issues?
The screen still touch and everything all works well, I just need to change it due to its look
What's the total cost (screen and workmanship)?
Lagos engineer only

Xiaomi Android Q lineup. Troublemaker101, it is mostly certain that the Note 6 pro won't get it.

So he was correct, Most AMOLED are not as bright as S and Note series..

Have you seen any Samsung budget AMOLED with screen burn?

It only happen on those flagship that has been pushed out of limit.

Easy guys. You are making my a30 look inferior. Just chill guys. All we want is neutrality and we mustnt allow personal opinions lead to degrading samsung brands we prefer less and don't even have..
.
I own an A30
.
I own a mi max 3
.
I must confess that Redmi Note 7 is a better buy if you are looking at versatility, speed, better camera modes and overall beauty.
.
Samsung a30 is a step up of Samsung midrangers and has a cruising infinity display, a wonderful battery life (which bested my redmi note 5), a lovely user interface and the camera isn't bad either. It has better deals of warranty than the redmi here in Nigeria.
.
Both almost have same marched processor with SD getting an upper hand (which is only noticeable in playing high graphic games
.
Both have 4gb ram
Both have 64gb variant
Both have 4000 mah battery
.
With all these similarities, I wonder why some say they are incomparable.
.
Nothing wrong in laying it neutral and allow the buyer make his choice. We know some love the great ips screens. Well, k20 ain't stupid using their amelods as selling points and when you use Samsung ordinary amelod display in the a30, you will know why..
. Why didn't u also mention the price range and value for money btw dem......and also state that the 128/4gb variant of RN7 price and compare to 64/4gb A30.....
Which is a better buy in price range.......
And the way u compare their processo seem as if na small RN7 use pass A30....browse d process (nm) and see for ursef...abeg dem no be mate for processor!
I see only A50 to be compared to RN7.....and not A30 plz.....this Amoled abi na Amu-led ........I blind for LCD ne?
Na shine shine I wan chop abi na facility matters here!Camera, processor,IRblaster, option of variant,Gorilla glass 5,overall sleek n beauty of RN7 should push one to rush it....not Amu-led.....pls u guys should compare A50 to it not mere A30

check out Apple Pro display, It's possible bro. LCD has the potential just that Amoled is the way to go for smartphones as it can be thinner, flexible, which is what phone manufacturers prefer these days, don't forget battery advantage of dark mode too. HTC did this with SUPER LCD brand in there flagship phones then, which was very good, had lots of positive reviews, it was virtually like AMOLED for black and saturated also. It's not a new thing, a technology being generally accepted across board doesn't necessarily mean it's the best, the point is lcd is good, Amoled too is also good both have their drawbacks, let's not be confused and say Amoled is always the best, as for refresh rates AMOLED has up to 90hz or 90fps recently, 120hz, 144hz has being a thing for lcd for a while now, the smoothness of an higher refresh rate is something that cannot be explained. I've used a 144hz display on a gaming system before , even web scrolling is crazy smooth. I think I've been able to pin point strength and weakness of both displays now, at least to an extent smiley
Wat is Apple pro? MacBook, ipad or phone?
Cus i really don't understand Apple pro.
As for super lcd, amoled still has deeper blacks, but yes i that's a nice tech from HTC,
Oled has 120hz 4k display also.
I understand that higher refresh rates is a nice thing. And on further research, seems like I asked earlier, higher refresh rates is a thing of the display technology employed. Seems more viable on lcd dan oled.
But pls ehn, oled currently is the best for mobile display, let's not mince words about that abeg.
Outside Mobile display, the playing field is different but for mobile display... Omo na oled, amoled over ips lcd.

Not only 710, there were host of others, I think only the flagships were Amoled
I don't know the others sha, but from what I've researched on it, only the 710 wasn't amoled or oled, feel free to name the others.
