INEC Server: The Easiest Way Atiku Can Make His Case by netpro(m): 10:36pm On Jun 14, 2019 |
With the case for Atiku's residential ambition depending largely on winning the notion that INEC had results on their server that favoured him, here is the easiest way Atiku can win the argument at the Tribunal. Atiku and his legal team need to provide and present the following details: The alleged INEC Server location, its IP address, brand, total number of units, installed capacity, processing power, configurations, purchase receipts, suppliers, server administrators, pictures of the servers, election results transmission logs to the server, user accounts and finally tell us how he got the information with supporting witnesses who are ready to testify in court. Note: With INEC coming out to say they do not have any Server that transmitted or received, processed and stored Presidential Results, it is now burdened on Atiku to prove it exists with supporting evidence and witnesses. 7 Likes 3 Shares |

Atiku does not need all that all Atiku needs is the court to order inec to provide the card readers and the server and if INEC keep lieing the court should summon all the presiding officers that took part in the election to come and testify if they transmit accreditation and results to the server after election. 17 Likes 4 Shares |

The reason this won't work is that the court only work in accordance to the constitution. The law that allows INEC to have a server was not signed hence even if they had the infrastructure, it cannot be used and cannot be presented in court as electronic collation is not recognised in the eyes of the law 13 Likes 5 Shares |

Lovelive: I will ignore the sore taste on your comment. At the bold, INEC say it did not transmit the 2019 Election Results to any server. Results were manually announced and collated at various centres. It is now left for Atiku to prove his claim with supporting evidence and witnesses. 5 Likes 1 Share |

This is not a game, this is criminal offence for INEC to hide the server and claim it does not exist It is a criminal offence It is not a game Nigerians really have to make up their mind what they want We are simply a Nation of criminals From the president to the smallest person 16 Likes 1 Share |

You are right but what require is more than that. He will need to prove with manual evidence that results on the server is the authentic. The wise lawyers have advised him to bury idea of going to court but you know our brothers, everything is business. 6 Likes 1 Share |

Lamasta: If Atiku wants the Card Readers, he will have them. The card readers do not even know which party you and I voted. Also the card reader doesn’t know those who were manually accredited. 11 Likes 1 Share |

krendo: If you are not an IT person like some of us it will look very complex. Servers are computers, yes. But there is a world of difference between a Server and office computer. For there to be the level of service Atiku is made to believe to support the use of servers, they have to be Internet connectivity, interactive database, software with user interface to enable sending the alleged results to the database. There are more to it for a national deployment. Atiku was simply sold an elaborate scam. 9 Likes 1 Share |

It's not duty of court to summon presiding officers , they are part of INEC that denied having such server. Atiku is just wasting his resources because you can easily prove irregularities and non-compliance but almost impossible to prove it's substantially affect your results in this case. 7 Likes 1 Share |

INEC don't have server. Even if INEC have Server, one ip can also been used by several people. Did INEC do electronic voting ? Can you differential those who vote for Buhari and those that vote for Atiku from the data on the card readers . PDP has not case of the Server issue 6 Likes |
Re: INEC Server: The Easiest Way Atiku Can Make His Case by netpro(m): 11:25pm On Jun 14, 2019 |
muykem: You are right. If Atiku should win, then that implies that what INEC and the voters manually did in public was a waste of time. That means Atiku and those around him are the only ones with authentic results. Note: Atiku's results are entirely different from INEC in every State. In Atiku's version President Buhari performed better in the SE for example. 7 Likes 1 Share |

Mynd44:Well said. But If it turns out that INEC does indeed have a server and collated election results were transmitted from polling units to the server, then top INEC officials need to be prosecuted for infringing upon the electoral act. Either way no electronic results can be admissible at the tribunal 3 Likes 1 Share |
Re: INEC Server: The Easiest Way Atiku Can Make His Case by pchukwudi: 11:35pm On Jun 14, 2019 |
What is your point, dude? 1) Insinuating that INEC did not use their server during the elections? 2) Or are you saying that truly they never had any server in existence? Basically, we all saw an INEC official saying on Channels TV that polling results were to be electronically posted to the INEC server from the Card Readers right from each polling unit. And when the manual result sheets are returned they had to be crosschecked against what's on the server in order to mitigate backdoor manipulation. netpro: 3 Likes |
Re: INEC Server: The Easiest Way Atiku Can Make His Case by netpro(m): 12:08am On Jun 15, 2019 |
pchukwudi: There different aspects of the Server issue and mostly does not favor Atiku. For instance, that INEC talked about servers before the election doesn't necessarily mean they used it. Also manual and paper results that were announced publicly by the electoral officers favour Buhari. It would have been a lot easier to change a softcopy if server were in play. The biggest upset is President Buhari declining to accent to the amended electoral bill. So INEC is not under any obligation to e-collation. It is also alien to the Law. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Lamasta: Guy stop abeg. Did you vote on the Card Reader or you thumbprinted on ballot paper? Apart of being used to accreditation (verifying you are a valid Voter, the card reader is completely ignorant of every other aspects of the day's activities. Like where ballots where snatched, voters that went home without voting, those that manually got accredited, etc. 5 Likes |

Re: INEC Server: The Easiest Way Atiku Can Make His Case by netpro(m): 9:13am On Jun 15, 2019 |
Lamasta: You are missing the point here, the law that would have provided a legal backing to that transmission by the card readers was declined to by Mr President. So legally, only the manual collation of results is lawful and acceptable. 3 Likes 1 Share |
Re: INEC Server: The Easiest Way Atiku Can Make His Case by Lamasta(m): 9:38am On Jun 15, 2019 |
netpro:Why will INEC then go ahead to use card readers when it was not legally and constitutionally backed by the law that's where the rigging took place some people sat in there homes and write results manually take Borno as a case study with all the security challenge over 1 million people voted is that possible if you check the accredited voters through the card reader it won't be up to that. To me o it seems it's high time we venture into E-voting at least wuruwuru go reduce |
Re: INEC Server: The Easiest Way Atiku Can Make His Case by netpro(m): 9:47am On Jun 15, 2019 |
Lamasta: Card reader were used as authentication and verification tool. Same as in 2015. Atiku has tarnished the prospects E-voting and e-collation in Nigeria. It will take longer to see the light of the day. 5 Likes |

Does "being alien to the law" and "not necessarily using it" mean the same thing to you as "INEC server does not exist"? Do you now have to support a silly lie to prove your patriotism? If INEC did not use a server, how then were they able to use Card Reader for voter verification? Are you even aware that, based on the existing INEC tenets, deliberate failure to use the Card Reader for voter verification is grounds for election cancelation? This was done both in 2015 and 2019. So if there was no server, how was the Card Reader able to verify voters? netpro: 3 Likes 1 Share |

Lamasta:Did electoral officers input election results into card readers in your presence at polling booth? If they did, did the party agents sighted and signed to the transmission? I don't know why you are giving Atiku false hope. The only results recognized by law is the result sheets signed by party agents and electoral officers. That's what Atiku should use to prove his case not one server that many voters don't even know exist. 5 Likes 1 Share |
Re: INEC Server: The Easiest Way Atiku Can Make His Case by MaziOmenuko: 11:57am On Jun 15, 2019 |
INEC may just have made this case easier for Atiku. He just needs to prove that INEC has a server which is easier because so many electoral officers are available to testify that they were indeed mandated by INEC to upload their results to the servers. It would have been more difficult to prove that the figures he reeled out were the actual election results than to prove that a server did exist. One would think that INEC would have maintained that the results reeled out by Atiku were fake. For them to say they don't have a server is a big miscalculation. A copy of the proposal INEC made to the national assembly to increase their budget so they can acquire servers is available. He can still find some INEC staffs, retired or in active service that can attest to the existence of servers. 4 Likes |

Man, check your mindset. The tendency to blame the victim and exonerate the aggressor does not end well for those who do such. Rest assured that APC will not be the n power too long. And, God's willing, one of the first things PDP will do once they retake power is to make our voting system more transparent - which will include the amendment act Buhari refused to sign into law. netpro: 2 Likes |

netpro: You are not getting the point. If INEC had insisted that no results were uploaded to the servers, it would have been more difficult for Atiku to prove otherwise. INEC said they have no servers! So the onus is on Atiku to prove they had servers which, to me, is very easy. If Atiku proves they indeed had a server, then he can as well submit that his results were real. I believe INEC goofed. This gets more interesting. 2 Likes |

MaziOmenuko: Atiku is just wasting is time. Even if somehow he could provide concrete proof that a server exist with transmitted results, how will he convince the court that the manually collated results that were signed by over 100k party agents and security operatives should be rejected and results from an INEC server that is known to PDP alone should be accepted as the authentic results? Again, what does the law say about collation and transmission of results? Except there is another law other than the 2010 electoral act, I’m not aware of any law that empowers INEC to transmit and collate results electronically. We have so many blind spots in Nigeria without internet coverage, how were they able to transmit results electronically from those areas? Atiku will also need to tell the court how he got access to the INEC server. Will he admit to hacking INEC server? Will the court accept as authentic results gotten from a criminal hacking process? Like I said earlier, Atiku is just wasting his time. 8 Likes 1 Share |

If you have anyone close to you that was a Corper that took part in the last election let him/her explain to You his role during the election or tell him/her to send you the soft copy of the election manual you will understand better. OAUTemitayo: 1 Like |
