You are missed Bro, same as Nerd. AFCON is here, let's enjoy it together on this Thread. We do not need to put more hope on the Team like some are doing. Mike-2 is actually doing balance Analysis. I respect his objectivity a lot.

Omonbala has spoken the bitter truth. The Squad is average, but we are happily believing they've reached the stardoms already. ChrisKels does open our Eyes that mostly our Players are better off as Carpenters, alas! He's being advised to change Nationality. Lol!

This was how we rated our U20 until we were disgraced honorably. Some of us argued that Aigbogun is a round Peg in the square hole, but we were told to unfollow the Team which we obliged satisfactory.
Bro, your inputs are needed, goldfish is another notable Moniker i am missing on this Thread.
Thanks for your good words.
I was actually happy with the early knock off of the old bones we took for u-20. Those guys were visibly old. Forget about what some say, if you see the regular u15-20 year old Nigerian you'd know.

Hmm. I read Rohr's statement concerning his target for the AFCON and i was destabilized. This guy has no atom of ambition in him. "My young team this, my young team that". Tufiakwa!

He Is more of a coward.

Transfer: Super Eagles forward to cost top European clubs €63million.

By Ifreke Inyang

Villarreal have slapped a €63million price tag on Samuel Chukwueze, L’Equipe reports.

Liverpool and other top European clubs, have been recently linked with the player, who shone in LaLiga last season.

Chukwueze, 20, cost Villarreal only €500,000 when he joined them a season and half ago.

The Spanish club have a contract with the Super Eagles winger until 2023, but clubs who wish to sign him before then, will have to splash out €63million, which is the release clause on his contract.

Chukwueze scored eight goals and provided three assists in 38 matches in all competitions in 2019/2020 campaing.

Rohr has started again with his young team excuses.grin Remember he used same excuses in Russia. He even went as far as referring to the world cup as a learning curve for his young team. Like hell, who goes to tourneys to learn? This guy is a coward and always looking for excuses. The bulk of your team have been together for a long while and 90percent of ur team already have world cup experience(s), yet u still here shouting "young team"? angry

''I think we have a young team without any stars. There are not many great players like Nigeria had in the 80s or 90s but our young team will be able to come out of the group and to try to go far,'' Rohr told DW Kick off.
This is dead talk. It ruined our players psychologically before and during the WC. He should drop it.

Ukraine played for draw against us but if they needed to beat us to qualify, they would have given us 5-0

Ukraine had already qualified and so rested a number of their regulars.

If they really needed to beat us to qualify they would have beaten us.

3rd group matches are always like that. Which is why I now have some little hope in the Super Falcons game against France. grin

He should be relieved of his duty. He doesn't seem to understand the essence of FIFA age grade competitions which is the unearthing of young budding talents and not winning. But because Aigbogun wanted to win he took a truckload of old bones and upon that he got beat. I'm happy that fraud did not pass second round.

What do you expect him to say? "We will blow away all opposition and win it" ? Statements Rohr has been making is what you call Tact, Respect for your opponents and Humility.
It's not about respecting your opponents. It's fear.
It would be strategy if he says that for the press and then behind close doors tells his players to go for it. Being young is not excuse to be dead pan. Young inexperienced players have done great in major tournaments. Rohr used this paralysing method at the WC and it didn't work.
