very good advice, coming to europe with kids can result to you losing the kids to the government, most single mothers dont work because they have to take care of their children.the work in europe is not as easy as those in nigeria. There is no difficult work in nigeria.i dont think any embassy will want to give you visa with 2 kids without enough money. No country wants a liability, unless you have somebody who is rich enough to stand as your sponsor.you have to consider the children, you may not be able to do full time work unless maybe you have sombody to take care of the kids, maybe a partner. You cannt pay rent with a mini job.it may take time for you to integrate into any country.so its always best you go first, then your kids join you.the reunion may take time.so remember in developed country, nothing like aunty or uncle to look after your kids,if you have to do a long hours work,u may leave them to foreigners and teachers to bring them up and they may end up teaching them the wrong thing.Things are not as easy as what people think it is abroad,u have to have a good job to survive or you may need to do several job to survive.its difficult even for people who are single without children ,talkless when you are alone.no government will want to come and take responsibilities for your children because presently most single mothers cost tax payers alot of money MissRaine69: 1 Like 1 Share |

It's not easy to survive abroad with two children without a spouse. Cost baby minders will take all your income. I will advice you travel without your children first and when you settle, you can come back for them. |

At the end of the day, all that matters is how much you can save while working. That you are abroad and snaping pictures for IG dont really tell the true picture. Biko we gaz linkup abeg! |

This message is for the single mum that wants to relocate. The first thing you need to do is get a job in the country you want to relocate to, then apply for work permit/work visa...with that, you will enjoy your new life easily. 1 Like |

byrron: You relocated the wrong way A family I know just relocated the right way. The lady applied for nursing job from Nigeria. She was employed after all the usual exchanges, etc. The company applied for work permit for the family.. wife husband and kids in Nigeria, and they were given. Now tell me, will the family have any issues enjoying the relocation? Absolutely not! So, OP, if you want to relocate, relocate the right way so that you can enjoy the fun of your relocation. My take! 3 Likes |

cvibe2: Kindly point out to me where I started that I relocated the wrong way? My relocation was hazard free because of due diligence which I stated that I never had a bumpy ride and I also shared an experience of 3 different families I know of that had good paying jobs back in Nigeria then before relocating and they still haven't found their bearing till this moment. People's experiences differ and there can never be a universal experience for everyone which is why we need to learn from other people's experiences so as to plan wisely and then make an informed decision. Kindly read what I stated earlier again and make corrections on misrepresentations of what I stated. The scenario you stated above has been happening for decades but sadly, not everyone secures a job from organizations that hires them and then go ahead to process a work permit which now enables them to have an SSN like in United States. Do you have an idea of of hundred of thousands of professionals from all over the world trying to relocate through such a process? Many apply but few are lucky to get by and if it was as easy as you stated above because of one lucky family you know then Nigeria would have been empty by now because all professionals would have left a long time ago. The scenario you mentioned above is one of the legitimate ways people do try to apply and see if they will be among the fortunate few they will get hired just like the same way millions of people play the then US Visa lottery which also is a legitimate means through which one can relocate but how many people out of the millions that applied are that lucky? We ain't arguing about the legitimate means of relocating rather my advice is for the OP to apply due diligence and then make an informed knowledge based decision. Thanks. 4 Likes |
