Ok now, this is not to advocate for anything but to talk about myself. I am an atheist,so this has nothing to do with any holy-holy stuff... Some years ago I came out of a relationship that lasted months,and I decided to stay single for a decade. Yes,ten years! Why? I needed time for myself,the dating game is like someone intruding into my life! As an introvert,I value my space and time,can't put up with receiving daily calls, messages etc I have been single most of my life (dated just once for some months),so I can go on like that.... Also I need to focus on some big projects,and achieve alot.... Singlehood is so much fun, I get to watch animes,play games, watch cartoons, I love to club as well,and I play God of War. I have an amazing ,fun filled life.... Am in my twenties and so far I have MANY more years remaining to complete the ten years goal before I get to the dating game. Just wanna know why people hop from one relationship to another. Why is a taboo to be single for just a year? Met amazing suitors and toasters but I just wanna be alone....for now. I know am doing fine! If you are reading this and you are out of a relationship,can you stay single for a year? A year of loving and pampering yourself! All you've described (not every single thing, lol) is totally me! But I relate with most of it. I'm single too, always been and loving it. Not because there aren't people around to date... life is huge. You can hardly finish doing stuffs—so many other things to experience and engage in. And a lot of relationships these days are pointless. Just an avenue for ache, pain, betrayal, misconceptions about the genders and life etc... What's the need for it? Michellekabod2: 1 Like |
