If this were to be a road in Aba, this thread would have gotten to 700 pages.

I am of the opinion that roads are in deplorable conditions in all states of the federation.

Pls remove abuja and akwa ibom from your list

Thank you

and the state was governed by AD, AC,ACN, APC for the past 16 years. the road doesn't need to be patched but total overhauling and reconstruction.. a technical road coy like JB or Hitech should be contracted for thia kinda road..not just to give some local government road maintenance agency ...the terrains of that area is transitional he closer to the sea side/lagoon and so..the soil need to be upturned... and refilled.. the road is a gateway to the port from badagry..so the heavy duty trucks and motor's plying the area is a signal for the road to be constructed with durable materials.. I once saw road construction in Niger Delta and I was amazed with the kinda materials used in the constructing roads in the creeks, swamps and its thickness was dumbfounding...

Nothing like palliative repair work on this Mile 2-Coconut-Tin Can road. What the road need is total overhaul with constructing firm like Julius Berger handling the project.

Let me shock you! Julius Berger worked on that bridge the last time it was overhauled. This is the result of JB that you are seeing. Let them try someone new.... definitely not Dangote sha o, except they want it delivered infinitum

Gbam.

Its a shame that we seems to be playing politics with this very important road.

How sad.

This road has been bad for ages. I remember passing this road in early 2011 and l was horrified seeing seeing what the road had become. That it was left to degenerate to this level under loud choruses of Eko o ni baje speaks to the kind of people we are.

Truth be told , a state of emergency needs to be declared on this road as well as the Lagos - Badagry expressway for immediate reconstruction. Whether this is done by LASG or FG is irrelevant at this point
