we were sabotaged psychologically and emotionally.. It was all I could deduce.. It was first ever match I had to watch because of my brother and trust me I feel bad about it..
It was sad, we really can't do much about it.

We started making mistake even before the World Cup by putting Tonto dike in our women’s World Cup advert.

I wonder what our Igbo girls there will be saying in the changing room “NNAEH, REF A MEGODU MISTAKE BATA HERE, KA ANYI PIGBUO YA

There are times when faced with a superior opppnent and nothing can save you.

US are the best team in the competition. France may score but they would be outscored.

On a side note, this is the danger of female referees.
They can get overwhelmed by home support.

Valid point.

If any of the bolded qualifies then we are likely out.

I guess only one of the bolded will qualify.

Against Argentina in the last world cup, where we should have had aleast two penalties, FIfa chose to allow human error to slide

However, as it is now against us(poor Africa), they have put on their moral caps and now implementing the VAR rules to the letter.

I salute Moumoudu of soccer Africa for seeing the VAR for what it is from beginning.

The brave Ivorian predicted that it will be exploited to cheat Africans and poor teams in the near future.

Well! he was not wrong after all.

FT Nigeria 0 - 1 France

Upon all their ojoro, upon one woman down they couldn't score more than 1

We played with France, referee, Var and commentator.

Worst commentator ever that dont know difference between shot on target and off target

After confirming Korea has lost she still went ahead to say it is not clear yet for Nigeria to qualify for the second round.

4 best 3rd place will qualify for the second round. South Africa and Korea are already out. What is not clear yet there??

Chile still has an outside chance against a very weak Thailand side....A 3 nil win for them can kick us out

We should also watchout for d Cameroon vs New Zealand match...a 2nil victory for either side won't be good for d Super Falcons

The penalty rule is not even the issue. The referee was so terrible. The French babe should have gotten a card for diving. You see the yeye reverse angle they quickly gave to the referee to keep on rewinding and rewinding. These people are great cheats. Such a shame for football. Very cheap penalty to award. If such had taken place on the midfield, even if a free kick was awarded, is that a yellow card offence? She still gave a yellow card again knowing fully well that the player was already on a yellow card. This was the same way Mali was booted out of the under 20 world cup through meaningless calls. When Kalu tried to pass the French player, the French player kept on kicking her legs and she fell yet no cards. When France attacked again, a French babe handled the ball with her hands when it was cleared but the referee turned blind eyes to it and allowed play to continue. Such a shame!
Anyway, I do not see this French team going anyway. I have seen teams like Netherlands play and at least 4 teams play better than them. They will be booted out soon.

Why is it not possible to mute just the commentary leaving the crowd cheering? And how is it that our game plan was to defend from start to finish?

Ebere was off today, Oshoala same, I don't think Chikwelu completed more than 30% of her passes; we're fortunate our defensive setup was quite rigid and France was wasteful. It's hard to root for a team with no clear idea on how they intend to score a goal; much more win a game.

Why is the French player allowed to be in the field?

This one got me angry. The French player was allowed in while the Nigerian player was asked to go off the pitch. That's the height of racism
