Nawa oo..Even with video evidence showing our goalkeeper broke the golden rule of penalty shoot, you could still write this. It was evident that the referee took her time to explain to our goalkeeper about the rule before the 1st penalty but she still went ahead to break the rule. Pls, spare Fifa and referee, blame your goalkeeper for that blunder. Overrall, the girls tried.
The French players were in the box before the penalty was kicked. What do you have to say about that?

FT Nigeria 0 - 1 France

Upon all their ojoro, upon one woman down they couldn't score more than 1

We played with France, referee, Var and commentator.

Worst commentator ever that dont know difference between shot on target and off target

After confirming Korea has lost she still went ahead to say it is not clear yet for Nigeria to qualify for the second round.

4 best 3rd place will qualify for the second round. South Africa and Korea are already out. What is not clear yet there??

My Nigga are you saying we gonna qualify??

What about the French players that encroached into the box during the second penalty. That's also an offense. Why didn't the ref call for the retake of the retake

Which golden rule? could anyone have spotted the inches off the line with the naked eye. They had to micro zoom the repay to get her.

The keeper clearly tried her possible best to stay on the line, but she moved her leg for a nano second.

Weren't the French players encroaching the penalty box when the second penalty was taken? should the penalty have stand.

What are you even blabbing about, South Africa and Korea were never in contention as one of the best third placed teams because they are all last in their respective groups.

Is this commentator that is bias towards Nigeria from SuperSport? Why would a bias commentator towards Africans be on an African sports network?

i don't think this new penalty law will work o, you can't generate enough force to dive by just remaining stagnant on the line. with this law 99.9% of penalties missed will be retaken... This people will just kill vibe in football

The girls didn’t play well but top marks to them for holding their own against the constant waves of the French attack. And that is despite being cheated on that penalty call and retake. Racism is alive and well in FIFA. And I think VAR should be thrown out of soccer along with that stupid penalty rule where the goalie is expected to basically be a statue on the goal line and watch the ball go in. With how big the goal post is one would have thought that goalies were already short handed during penalty kicks. Instead FIFA decides to essentially handcuff goalies further. Why don’t they just play the penalties into an open net without a keeper? Cheats! Also as several people have pointed out, how come the corrupt ref and the useless VAR didn’t pick out the encroachment during the pk? CAF has to start fighting back against all this blatant racism and cheating.

How do you mean? Argentina and Scotland in the same group with 1 and 0 points respectively. They both have one game each to go. Others are hopeless, mathematically! Check the group standings again

We should stop looking for who to blame, she crossed her line before the penalty was taken.

They also play far better than us as expected. We need to rebuild out female team and change our style of play.

Good bless Nigeria

It wasn't a penalty. Both players stretch their legs for the ball. The France player attempted a dive in to make contact with the ball. VAR didn't show Nigeria player kicking her opponent (there was no contact), the referee and VAR officials just guess the France player fell because of it but she was just trying to throw herself onto the ball to make contact with it.

58% passing accuracy and less than 40% ball possession is not good enough from Mr. Thomas Dennerby.

He should be relieved of the job abeg.
our coach compentency is questionable .Even when it is obvious the players are tired,he refused to make changes until France scored in make changes in very late hour .With a good coach we should not loose to Norway p
