When I first heard "DOOM PATROL", the name alone kinda trow me off. Then, I heard it's a DC comics ish sh!t. Sorry, I don't do those super heroes, super villain peice of ----, where people, or perhaps, creatures don't die. And even if they did die, don't stay DEAD.

- A woman with 64 personalities, each with their own distinctive abilities

- etc.

Season 1 and 2 were very good. I feel season 3 is a bit of a let down

I think he became too attached in season 3 making it harder for him to carryout his con plans. I enjoyed it nonetheless.

Folks that love the outlandish are gonna love it. Doom Patrol is what would happen if Legion and Preacher had a baby. It is what season 1 of Umbrella Academy aspired to be and failed. It is macabre, fun and touching all at once. Like someone said, it is bonkers.

The Umbrella Academy, Preacher, Doom Patrol, Legion, Maniac, The OA, Westworld and Happy! are genre bending shows in the sense that there are minute to no boundaries defining them. Basically, they flit from genre to genre.

However, some did what they aspire to better than others. Doom Patrol perfected the concept that The Umbrella Academy initiated. Preacher is a better version of Happy!. Legion and The OA are premium versions of Maniac. Westworld is just plain mindfuck.

Bro, taste differs. There are people that hate Breaking Bad, Chernobyl and The Sopranos, and yet, they are some of the best tv shows on the planet for me. There are people that abhor slow burners, and yet, I love them very much. There are people that love comedies with laugh tracks, and yet I can't stand them. There are people that would unironically call The Originals the greatest show ever, and yet I couldn't even last 5 minutes on the show. There are people that love telenovelas, and yet, I haven't watched a single telenovela as an adult.

Bottom line, stick to what turns your engine. What may be the sweetest food for you is someone else's allergy. You can't fit a square block in a round hole.
