Update:

The Device hasn't arrived still, and I've explained to the guy that he will get a refund.

I then heard talks that he is malicious towards me. because of this, I approached him to talk things out; then, he slapped me, because other students were around, and he wanted to feel like a champion. I didn't cut him any slack, I retaliated and made sure he was death several punches. All this was June 17th.

So Yesterday, which was 18th, he reported the issue to the school security unit. I was summoned, and I appeared almost immediately. I was surprised to see that he has a lot of bruises on his face—his face is swollen, and he has several other cuts on his face.

We both took our turns in explaining what happened, and we were made to write statements. The issue has been taken to the administrative unit. The security unit officers were very biased in the issue. They were supporting him, because the condition of his face, according to their stupid judgement, calls for pity.

I've been threatened that my studentship will be withdrawn, but I'm not shaken. May they rot in hell. I will skale through this.

I've been told to bring my I.D card today.

They keep saying I have a big issue ahead of me and that my studentship is at stake. They are all forgetting that he is the one that hit me first, even when I was trying to explain to him.

Redmi Note 5 is not a simple process. You have to unlock bootloader, install a custom recovery and then enable camera2api before you can use GCam. If you can't handle the technicalities tweak your stock Camera to your taste and enjoy it till you get a newer model.

Redmi 7 and above have Camera2api enabled out of the box.

So the phone hasn't arrived since then? That's very bad!

You were asked then to look for a way to refund the guy so when the phone comes around, you might sell it off and recover your money. And obviously you were giving the guy attitude because you said you stopped picking the guy's call. Who wouldn't be annoyed? I know it's not your fault but then..

You had no business retaliating to the extent of causing him that kind of bruises. That escalates the whole matter. Since the deed has been done already, try get evidence of the hanging deal and go with it but that's if they'll be interested so it won't look as if you scammed him of his money.

Man this is all messed up, I thought you said he is/was your friend. How did it get to this level? I would advise if you have the money to refund him, please do and if possible apologize to him. You don't want your studentship to be jeopardized on this, it's simply not worth it. Sometimes we can't win every battle.

Am really disappointed at your response, he played to your weak point which is obviously your temper and you fell flat for it. Whenever you find yourself in this situation don't retaliate.

Right now all chips are against you. Because the school sees you as a con man and a bully.

If your school happened to be my former school and you appear before the school disciplinary committee, the minimum you get is a session suspension that is if you convince them enough not to expel you.

On a lighter note Happy birthday, I pray you get out of this.

When you meet the School security today try and show some remorse for your actions, that you acted out of anger since the guy hit you first despite your many explanations. You really don't want to have your student status threatened coz of a trivial issue as this.

Repay him his money to make this school security wahala go away as someone suggested, since you are the one to pickup the device when it gets here.

Those old men can frustrate the hell out of you if they think you're being uncooperative and as things stand the cards are not in your favour.

This has spiralled out of control, look for someone that has used aliexpress around you and take him with you to go and explain how aliexpress works with deliveries. Be remorseful too when next you see them don't beg but be apologetic, don't give any soul your ID card or school documents.
As for your anger, well we are in the same boat so look for that your guy separately or with the security team and pay him his money.

Abeg no dey fight for school, when I was in school I fought so much that Man o war crew knew me, even PCI so stop fighting before it will land you in more serious trouble

A friend is trying to decide on either a10 or redmi 7. I am trying to advice her to use Redmi 7 but she is still deciding. Any other advantage of the redmi 7 over the a10?

A friend is trying to decide on either a10 or redmi 7. I am trying to advice her to use Redmi 7 but she is still deciding. Any other advantage of the redmi 7 over the a10?

The Redmi 7 is a better all round device when compared to the A10. Better processors, better camera both back and front. Better front glass, gorilla glass 5 on the Redmi 7 none is listed for the A10.
The Redmi 7 also has a bigger battery

So the Redmi 7 > Samsung A10

I could be wrong but I think you're holding back something. It's wise you tell us what really happened so we can give you the best of advice.

It's a person's right to get upset when his gadget ordered hasn't returned and also his right to get refunded. I think some matters don't need explaining but actions. You shouldn't have allowed such issue excalate. Yes, he hit you. Why didn't you report? Why randy Ortom him? Now you have your studentship threatened? Is it all worth it? To me it's not.

As for me I hate owing people. I keep their money in a separate account so I could easily refund should the business fail. Good relationship and integrity matters more to me.

I think you should still be on the begging side, especially if you are yet to pay him. Give a defined date when he would be refunded and apologise for getting into a fight with him. Let him know he shouldn't have punched you first then show sympathy for the destruction caused.
