I knew about this negative marking, I left about 7spaces blank, just as I was told in exams like this you are not even meant to finish everything or answer everything only the ones you are sure of, I told some people b4 the exam, anyways everything is in God's hands....it's a function of grace..

Now this is what i want to hear but I'm open minded anyway. Sniper would never be an option even if things don't work as expected . But one thing is sure, God has the final say las las....

I said it yesterday. Dont panic. What is yours will come your way. Definitely not all of us will work in NNPC. They say every disappointment is a blessing in disguised. I dont care. What will be will be and if you're hardworking, success shall always come your way. The so called Federal Character is as well corrupt. I spoke to a staff their few days after the exams and she confide in me that even the Exams was just formality cuz she was part of those who invigilated. And from the type of questions set,, i mean compared to banks and even other parastalals, there was something fishy. Im still not losing hope, but this country, only God's grace can help you.

Some info self let's be logical and think the time you program a computer to start this negative marking and be deducting marks from scores and adding marks.

I will rather go for vacations & study abroad than go there to live & work. A dude that earns N400k & above is richer that overseas counterparts in same or slightly lower pay.

The later in Nigeria has less bills to pay.

Negative marking was applied to such questions while those who skipped/let them blank had extra/bonus marks.

* Everything is concluded as per the test and those to be invited penciled already.

* Invitations for interview should be concluded - ALL THINGS BEING EQUAL, before end of next week.

* New employees will resume either in July or worst case August.

RECOMMENDATION:
√ Put your best effort in what you do currently
√ Do not allow the process to disturb you since those to be contacted have been confirmed: your worry won't change a thing.
√ It is not all that passed the test that will be invited for interview.

We all know how the system runs in Nigeria and suddenly some people feel this recruitment will be all merit and transparent... you may be right but when it's your time to be chosen forget negative marking,when is your time all that is needed is you trying your best and you will see your self flying high,negative marking may exist but it would never judge my entry to nnpc, similar thing occured during I chose different type from the question I was given in jamb, thinking that I would av no result yet I had result even better than those who chose the type given to them

secondly,it was d year I had d lowest jamb score(204) I gained admission into university,when I had 249& 256 i wasnt admitted...

so for me if it's my time, irrespective of any condition or weather I'll be chosen

Thanks for the information.
However, I strongly disagree with the negative marking and the ideology of some questions not having answers.
Also to those saying this process is not transparent and based on Merit, you are wrong.
Maybe just a few might get in based on connection. But for the masses, there’d be a greater influx based on merit.
Nnpc might have been corrupted definitely in the past but with the emergence of Dr. Maikanti kacalla Baru, I think the system has upped her credibility.
There’s nothing we can do now, than tap into a priceless commodity, hope.
Hope for the best. Should you happen to get the worst, hope the worst was for the best.

Except your source be from the examination organizing body JAMB, you can't be so sure. The exam was already contracted and all these NNPC staff said this and that doesn't apply to the exam systematics. Not even up to half the NNPC staff can give you apt details about this recruitment.
