Amahjosh: (1) It is almost impossible to get admission as an international student (at least for Nigerians) into Fanshawe without using an agent. Any money you pay your agent will be returned when you get your visa. P.s The agents are only for admission. (2) If you see any PGD with co-op in your preferred program, please take it with both hands and legs (you will thank me later). If there is no PGD with co-op, go for PGC. You can always renew your study permit in Canada. The other degree you mentioned, that is not even an option. 3 Likes 3 Shares |

abusmanlouis: This is ridiculous!!! Could it be that your brother’s SOA isn’t strong enough? or you didn’t proof enough ties, eg employment/business, landed properties, family etc |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Aisha77: 8:10am On Jun 19, 2019 |
abusmanlouis:OK I get your point, from all the applicants statement don't u think it might be a new trend. My application was barely 3 weeks, one other guy here was about 10 days and at least over 20 applicant that we know got the letter same time. Well let keep watching as events unfold. |

I have submitted my application (online route) since may 13th and this is what I still see on my dashboard. Those that applied after me have been getting one letter or the other. No eligibility and background review yet talk less of any letter. Anything the issue?

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Kenny4real68: 8:51am On Jun 19, 2019 |
OliviaPretty9: Hope you didn’t apply to only UWindsor Besides, I believe before you applied for the program you must have seen on your program website that It’s not mandatory to secure a supervisor before beginning an application, that a supervisor will be assigned to you once you are admitted? Many people have fallen victim of this instruction!!! If you are applying for a thesis based MSc program , make sure you secure a supervisor before applying, if not , just forget about your application fee just as I have forgotten about mine! All dis grammar is to get thousands of applicants, and at the end only those with supervisors will be admitted. My UWindsor application status is still showing the same instruction since last year nov I applied up till now. I think the supervisor they have for me will come when I finally clock 99years. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

Aisha77:let me bust your bubbles. If you read through part 15, you would understand that the same thing happened where April applicants received Biometrics Validation Letter almost at the same period. There was a moniker that even said almost all of them that submitted paper application on the same day got BVL and refusal letter the following day except for him. Some even received BVL after 2 weeks of their application and got refused eventually. While some received BVL and got refused after 6 weeks. As Frankrobbn1 as explained earlier, the moment one receives BVL, it means that such application has been finalised. But what do I know, as I am not a VO, miracle could still happen even after receiving BVL and one gets a medical request and PPR |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Aisha77: 9:25am On Jun 19, 2019 |
tajmal:I'm very much aware of that time and period and how they all eventually got a denial some days after. Difference is refusal still started coming a day after letter were received while some took more days. This time nobody has received any update. Well truth be said we have seen refusal after 2 week and same as approval so anything is possible last last. Bubbles did not bust oooh as I am aware.lol |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Chukwuemekatehi(m): 9:29am On Jun 19, 2019 |
Mine didn't burst too. They quick to state people who got refusal after weeks but they won't mention those that got approved after week of receiving BVL. Let's be positive anything can happen. Aisha77: |
