This change can affect the process in 2 ways, either it facilitates or frustrates the process. Whatever the case may be, it's above our powers and the only thing possible for us to do is to be....

This will not change the recruitment process. The new GMD, Until his new appointment, @mkkyari, a geologist, was Group General Manager, Crude Oil Marketing Division of the NNPC. So, he has been in the system.

Optimism is among the positive traits in humans. But the fact is, whether we choose to believe this or not, this new development will adversely affect the recruitment. There will be delays definitely but I do hope it is not halted eventually.

wow, such bad news for many people this morning

Buhari orders Kyari, newly appointed NNPC GMD to work with Baru....so don't worry people that are apprehensive of the change. Things will still fall in place for good despite the change

This was my only fear

The fact remains that NNPC is short of staffs. So even if they changed chiefs or GMD, the recuitment would still hold, but might stays longer than expected.
The only fear is that all of you that had reliable source might start having unreliable sources now because loyality would change hands and if the names has been Hand picked before now， the book of life is going to be revisted again..... So let's all calm down and enjoy the movie

Now nnpc gmd is changed. Only god knows when this Recruitment will last for....

No date until NNPC releases dates for actual interview. It has to be close to the actual interview dates so the training remains fresh before you go for actual interview.

On PH, we are not sure of PH, we need minimum of 20 people to show interest before it becomes economical for us to travel there. We are sure of getting minimum of 20 people in Lagos and Abuja so those ones are confirmed.

Is it a sack or tenure expiration? If it is tenure expiration then it is easy to know or predict when the baton would change hands. Nobody needs a source for that.

President didn’t sack Baru.. he’s due for retirement.

They are really going to retire many staffs that are due, let's be hopeful this Change in leadership might make the process fast or slow.... But I think it's going to still be fast because there is need for quick replacement...

They are to work with the current heads for easy transition into office by 8th of July, this will help in continuity of whatever is on ground before they take fully taking over.

The current heads are still very much in charge of all operations, and I won't be surprised if the new once have zero influence on the ongoing recruitment, except if no call for interview before 8th.

P.S: no source oo, just a concerned applicant thinking out loud. God help us

Guy, who are you? You just typed what's on my mind perfectly. If the info that had been flying around ( mails for interview dropping next) is really true, the new development should not change it cos by next week the current heads will still be charge. I think the new heads can only influence the process after interviews are concluded.

My thoughts though.

I felt a tingle of doubt this morning after the news but it was swiftly shut down, God is in charge...

I just got a success mail from nnpc. Pls d new person has no influence oo. Chck ur mail. Who else received. U can chck d portal too its changed.
