That enthroned guy thread really got me pissed. Said he's gonna do an exposé on cultism & it's spiritual consq & ends up shooting staccatos of hubris everywhere. Like he saw an opportunity here to proselytize by mixing half truths with unfounded speculations. Like we have fallow brainsangry

I'll go read it and report back. As they say, two sides to a story

I don’t think people get expelled from cults. They get killed instead
Then they were not cults / gangs but fraternities according to the original plan before all these crap we now have

I was really looking forward to @enthroned by God's thread on cultism and the spiritual effects of it. I asked to be tagged when it drops but when it finally dropped, I was disappointed.

The thread isn't interesting at all. (At least for me)
Bashing Catholics, Muslims, TB Joshua et'al.

I'm of the school of thought that says everyone should be left with his or her beliefs, as far as it doesn't pose a threat to any one or the society. If it's legal and ethical, count me in!

I stopped reading the thread when I got to the second page because I felt the essence of the thread has been defeated.

You and me both, I was really looking forward to it, but I'm not for all the bashing and whatnots, there's no reason for me to continue reading the thread.

Enthronedbygod, just finished reading your thread.
Thanks for the effort. We are on the same side of the “war” and every little bit helps.

HOWEVER, I want you to realize that most people don’t experience life the way u have. I don’t know why, but certain people are prone to spiritual attacks and such encounters. But believe me most people are not, they don’t hear voices and such. In some climes they’d actually call it a psychological problem and refer you to a psychiatrist. Also, just like u, such people tend to be big believers in conspiracy theories and things like juju and such.
Most people live their lives without ever directly encountering anything supernatural. I think most atheists and scientists are like that and not that they are satanic. Though I believe a very few may actually be in cohorts with the devil.
The human psyche is vast and it is entirely possible we create reality by our beliefs - eg, if u believe something exists then it truely exists - for you!

*BTW u confuse gangs (Naija “cults”) and secret societies. Freemasons, Rosicrucians, are secret societies.
Real cults are groups like Branch Davidians, Jones Temple, etc*

What u folks think?

EnthronedbyGod na pastor o. From his quote from Dr. Olukoya, i knew he was going to speak from a very christian angle. As a Christian, i understand what he says are very deep. I wish he would dig more on the issue of blood oaths taken during initiations, etc. But lets face it there is a spiritual side to things. Early this year a prophetess i follow on Facebook gave a prophecy and insisted we pray for young minds that the spirit of suicide has settled among the youths in the country. This year haven't we been seeing youths taking their lives for even baseless reasons? The number of suicidal deaths is more than 60 i have read on news, which may actually be in hundreds.
Anyways, i wont doubt him too much. Good his thread is in the religious section. Will be a strong guide there. But for those fully in the flesh, wey won belong or form hardman, the stance remains "Say no to Cultism"

There is actually a spiritual side with attendant consequences to cultism but EnthronedbyGod is all over the place in that thread and has, as a result, nuked every believability of the intended message. Have stopped reading.

Sad. Was hoping he will do justice to the topic. Naa! We'll await another saviour. He's not the one.

Modified:

Finally finished EnthronedbyGod thread after my anger at the way he started it made me stop earlier.

I still maintain that his calling out some men of God and some denominations was unnecessary, ill-advised and counter productive.

Having finally read it, here's my report:

There are many golden gems in his thread for anyone interested in the negative side, spiritual side and spiritual effects of cultism. He has enriched and deepened this expose on cultism.

I now amend my earlier criticism of that thread.

Best wishes everyone.

You are less intelligent. The way aiye is pronounced is different from the way it is spelt.

It normal for anyone who is not familiar with cultists activities to spell it wrongly.

Where is your reasoning?

I expected him to be objective. Take things from a neutral angle & stay within the realms of his knowledge & experience. Don't confuse spirituality with religion. They are two different things.

Sorry guys............

We sat down drinking Kokoma thinking our cult group is the strongest on campus and nationwide . Whenever we hear scores of aiyesss loosing HITs in other institutions, we became angry and we immediately call the axxxe head of that particular T to know what the problem and what he lacked .

US: kpowai wetin dey sup for ur T? We dey hear scores, why you no fit deliver Na ?
Axxe head ( kpowai ) : una go mercy me oooo, 4 no dey the back ground and dem run enter us unexpected ooo
US: so make we control Squad come run the HIT? Your eye don fit map out where dem base ?
Axxe head : I go appreciate if squad fit put face , a cry for one , is a cry for all.

We then send squad to that particular institution and deliver . Whenever we drop a member of another cult group, we echo out .

Ayeeeee axxxeeee mennn

So people around will know we carried out the operation . There was a particular HIT that’s left my friends beheaded by members of the SEC. A particular Sunday morning, my girl friend woke up and prepared for mass . I stayed at a place called monkey joint in abraka . She woke up very early in the morning for 6am mass. She left home for mass and kissed me on the bed . 3 mins later, she dashed in saying her phone and her bag was collected my three guys. I rushed out with my 1 ( cutlass ) and I saw other girls running towards my direction. I saw a friend also called biggy, he just got initiated into the black axxxe and was running towards me,

Biggy: egede , some kind men just obtain us for front of burrow pit, them collect my cry ( phone ). Them metche( cut ) me join self .
Me: Na them metche you for hand like this ?
Biggy: yes oooo

I immediately echoed out

Ayyyeeeee axxxxeeee men , make all men fall out......

Axxxeee men rushed out with cutlasses and guns and we set out to chase those men, we chased them and two of them escaped , we where able to chase one into a burrow Pit at monkey joint and when we got to him, he was begging . I asked of the phones they collected , he said they where with the other members of his gang that escaped . Immediately one of the axxe men present recognized him as an eiyeee member .

So you be Elebe wey one come collect for where Sm ( strong men ) dey....

We immediately removed his hands with the cutlass and left him bleeding inside the burrow pit.

Their ibaka heard of what we did and pronounced war on aiyessssssss....
