Thank God we are facing Germany rather than England. Btw, I'm going to make a bold prediction and pick England to take the title. |

Good morning happy family.... My main concern now is who can/will replace Rita Chikwelu and Ngozi Ebere in that team. Rita Chikwelu especially. That girl really does so much markings and holdup in the center of the park. Probably we will finally see Ajibade against Germany |

2019 AFCON. Training Watch: Super Eagles Strikers, Who’s Hot? Who’s Not? – Onuachu Tops Ighalo, Musa & Osimhen The team of Nigeria for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations have spent the past one month in camp preparing for their challenge at the championship which starts with a game against Burundi on Saturday. Owngoalnigeria.com has monitored the team since the start of training and our editorial team has put together a piece on the performance of the strikers in the team in training and also in the two test games they’ve played so far. Paul Onuachu – He didn’t stop scoring until he was struck by a mysterious illness. The illness made him miss the game against Senegal but upon his return to training two days back he picked up from where he left off with a brace in a practice match. Ahmed Musa – His sharpness has come as a surprise to many who expect him to lose a yard in pace following his move to Saudi Arabia. However that has not been the case and he is sure to start for Nigeria at the 2019 AFCON either as the arrow ahead of a 4-4-2 formation or part of the two strikers in a 3-5-2 formation. He has also been very lethal in his finish top of which was a fine lob over Francis Uzoho before he was slowed down by illness. Odion Ighalo – Looks to be suffering from burn out or not properly fit yet. Although he has found the back of the net thrice in training, he fired blanks against Senegal where he could have scored as many as two goals. Should start but for now he isn’t among the top performing strikers in camp. Victor Osimhen – Full of energy and drive but yet to get off the mark in training. Strong and direct in his approach he only need to add goals to his game but overall his performance has been very encouraging. https://owngoalnigeria.com/2019/06/20/training-watch-super-eagles-strikers-whos-hot-whos-not-onuachu-tops-ighalo-musa-osimhen/ 2 Likes |

WWC target achieved, just going to see how we cope against Germany, that's all. Super Saturday for us: Germany vs Nigeria (4pm) Nigeria vs Burundi (6pm) Abeg wey that my remote control. AFCON Mood activated. I must not miss any game. 10 Likes |

naturecures: Both - kill two birds with a stone. How possible is that? You will have to visit a sport viewing centre to make this a possibility - both matches aired live - side by side. However, the Super Falcons' game might start by 4:30pm. 1 Like |

maidaboi:The Germans do not need to be at their best to wreck havoc on African sides. 1.They are more technical than an average African side 2..They are taller. So expect them to keep whipping crosses into the box through out the 90mins of action 3.They are more dangerous on the set pieces. If they can't break you from open play, they will take advantage of Corners and free kicks. Finally, not forgetting, they just whooped the ass of SA. |
