Plus side...there might be more money to pay for subsidy for PMS*. Government might even bring down prices of fuel.

Plus side....should government decide to deregulate....the price of PMS may go up, but there would be a good finaicnal cushion short term (and more revenue....means potentially more revenue for things like railways and other public transport.

Minus side...rise in price of kerosene, and diesel (which have been deregulated). PMS too may go up should government decide to deregulate the sector anyway.

Lol....but as for me, I put the blame on what is happening in Libya on the Libyans themselves.

The same revolution that happened in Libya happened in Tunisia and Egypt...and both countries are relatively stable. Libya's issue is that everybody and his grandmother wants to be top dog....or should I say top wolf. Too many captains in the football team...

As for bombing....Japan and Germany were bombed worse than Libya ever was....yet both countries within ten years were on the rise.

Gaddafi may have been a good leader welfare wise...but failure to develop a strong industrial base left Libya in a mess. Yes, he developed some good weapons...all dependent on imported tech.
