The Lagos State Government has begun massive highway reconstruction across the state now that the rainy season is here even though there still needs lot to be done in this regards, but we still have to commend them by starting the work they are meant to do. Also, we noticed that the state government has also contracted the covering of all holes around the metropolis. Manholes are usually left open by Lagos State officials after clearing the drainage, they refused to cover these holes back which cause lots of damages, accident to road users.

Starting from Marina in Lagos Island, Victoria Island, 3rd Mainland Bridge, the team are using the composite manhole covers, what makes this unique is that it's not susceptible to theft unlike the others that they open and carry away either by the workers or by the public.

Below are some of the works carried out by Lagos State Government ministry of works early these week...

I don't understand o.When did filling of potholes becomes a celebration in Lagos?. while we acknowledge the promptness of the new government,some of the potholes are roads that needs expansion and total rehabilitation altogether,not just portholes.while Ambode was poor in human-relations,you can't take it away from him for building over 300-new road networks within three and half years in Lagos State.That is infrastructural development per excellence.we wish new govt.of Sanwo-Olu the best but he should note that Lagosians are counting the remnants of his term because of impatient.
