Well well well.

For sake of future applicants, I would reel out the process:

Initially, I applied reluctantly (just to savour the experience), got invited to write the personality test, passed it (I got serious at this stage) and got another to its annex office at Oniru. The tax technical test was hinged on: basic accounting techniques/knowledge, computer/internet based terminologies (fintech, cloud computing, e-commerce etc.), regulatory bodies for various financial transactions, current affairs (quite a lot and very recent; as recent as Buhari not approving the African Continental Trade Agreement), excel formats, general economics/commerce and I will never forget the question on circumference of a circle (third question. Overall was 50). Duration: an hour. The earlier italicized tax indicates that it was not really a 'tax technical' test (my opinion). So, don't be fazed by mere semantics.

Regarding acing the personality questionnaire, well, it is a subjective as well as an objective process. However, unlike what some persons opine that there are no wrong answers, there are actually wrong or answers that are misfit. To ace it, I recommend studying the core values of PwC assiduously, preferably get a book/paper and jot the values. Ensure you try as much as possible to be consistent in your choices. No matter what, don't waver in your choices. I know it is not easy as there are options that are Siamese twins in nature, but mbok, be consistent. Be highly consistent in (your "most" ) the following:

- I like people
- Love for numbers aka statistical data
- Like to consult with others
- Hate to break rules
- I am organised
- Positive thinking
- I trust people
- I critically analyse details

They will come in ways that resemble, key is to be consistent in your choices while concurrently adhering to the values (consistency and adherence are important regarding the OPQ). I had to drop this as I have learnt a lot from previous applicants (esp the GT folks as far back as 2012) on PwC's recruitment and I believe others will benefit too.

LOL! Thought the earlier love letter was a mistake and will be reverted. grin

Topsywhite:

I doubt. Unlike others, PwC favours even folks who are 27, possess a HND or "drop-off the list items" by others. Rather, I strongly believe it was a means to prune down the numbers drastically as there were circa 240 candidates on the list and this is for only a department unlike the GT program (last year apprenticeship took less than 30). Probably, the cut-off mark was say 45/50 which if a candidate does not attain (even if it is 44/50), s/he does not get invited.

Congratulations guys and the best of opportunities awaits those that didn't scale through this,
Guys, can I request to be rescheduled for Friday as I have an exam on Saturday (NIM).
I was scheduled for Saturday and it seems the interview will hold just on Saturday and Friday.
I'm considering contacting AUNTY Toyin.
