you are right bro. those sellers are to be blame for it, they unlock phones by cooking bootloader and flash another rom. the problem will now be noticable by upgrading android version

REDMI NOTE 5 USERS

So this evening I decided to check the cause of the soft brick that some people have been facing while transition from Oreo ROM to PIE based MIUI 10 ROM.

From my findings on XDA-forums the basic cause is Fake Unlocked Bootloader. So those who had their devices bricked didn't unlock their bootloader properly.

So those who where not affected had their bootloader unlocked properly before it was switched from CN ROM TO GLOBAL STABLE ROM.

It also shows when you an doing a major MIUI Upgrade like MIUI 9 to 10.

Some of those sellers can be deceptive, they will put OTA update on global ROM version but when the device gets to you, they will then send you a message not to update.

Global Version is always written at either sides of the carton, the film covering the screen is written in English, Chinese version you see Chinese written on it. And the film covering the screen is written in Chinese(Weather Chinese ROM OR The ones the seller installed Global ROM). But the version sold in Nigeria market is the Global Version.

As for Glo 4G. If you are in areas Glo have deployed their new LTE band 3 you will use 4G but their is no band 28 availability.

If you get the 64Gb version I doubt you will have a need for a memory card but be it as it may their is hybrid SIM card adapter it is readily available on the thread store.

Colour is personal, but since you are looking for something sleeky I would say Blue.

2kurrupt, I don't seem to have the charging bug on my device. I have noticed a bug sha initially thought my battery was going cuckoo but after going through XDA and Mi community I found out I was not the only one.

The battery percent drops by 2% sometimes. But it happens occasionally. But it doesn't have any effect on SOT

I took some later in the afternoon, this time I deactivated AI but left HDR active. If you check it, Night shot was still better, with more details and "truer" HDR

so ... where is your proof ?....

Here is one proof here

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBTl5-hstQA

You see I'm not trying dispute anyone or cause any quarel, I made proper research on YouTube and I'd say for that price, Nokia X6 is the best phone you can get if you are on a 55k budget. After proper research saw that RN7 was better in some aspect while X6 was also very much better in some aspect

So I wasn't wrong all along

And someone here telling me to format both phones to test properly must be a joker if you think my friend will be looking at me while I format his phone even at that my phone had an edge to his since my phone was just a week old while his own is 3 months

Forget all my epistle. All I'm saying is that for its price Nokia X6 is the best phone you can get and to some extent better to RN7

Good evening bros
How did you go about changing your Font please?
For me, I changed my region to India and downloaded over 20 fonts. I now apply them any time I wish then revert back to Nigeria region. Also some fonts need data to install while some others don't.

Yes it is. No problem with the tests. Now people know more, I've learnt something. But tomorrow I'll compare stock cam night mode with Gcam night sight in daylight vs Gcam normal cam with hdr enabled and hdr+ enabled too. Battle for supremacy...

Nope, it doesn't. The only time I encountered reversion to default font was when I tried one theme like that. But I quickly dashed back chose a new font.

Seems we need to start putting up a disclaimer when people come here asking for which phone is better between a Xioami phone and other Smartphones within the same price range so as not be blamed for thier Choice after they Choose to get a Xioami device.
