Why Senators Don’t debate Dstv, Mtn, Airtel, Glo And Other Service Providers by sarrki(m): 9:59pm On Jun 21, 2019 |
DSTV clones all the senators decoders. They have free access to all the channels from month to month Mtn/Glo and other networks recharge for each of them amount worth 100.000 naira for free every month to make calls. When they resume plenary you cannever hear any single senator stand up and speak against the reckless charges especially from network providers. You have to subscribe up to 9000 naira every month for you to be able to stay online everyday and nobody is talking about it. It’s time we take this to their doorsteps. If they cannot speak for us, one day we shall speak for ourselves The real corruption we are talking about is this. When those who can speak for you have their mouths sealed, why won’t DSTV and Network providers charge Nigerians the way they want Wonders 6 Likes 1 Share |

Senators and reps are merely there not because of us rather for their bank accounts, immediately families and for their cronies. None of them has ever made bill beneficial to me . It will continue to be so as no help in sight for the next 30yrs or more because the crops of politicians we have now are just inhuman ... |

The DSTv issue is quite disturbing The monthly tariff is too much and coupled with the power problems we are faced with One hardly gets his money's worth It's ought to be pay as you watch.... Not this monthly payment If the senators will not talk about it definitely because of the numerous bribes from the firm.. . I don't see what prevents the suffering masses from taking to the streets .. It's a rip off |

True. It's been like this for long. I recall when a company gave out handsets as gifts to parliament in a nearby country and the news went round in that country and it became a very serious national discourse. Then i wondered how they would have found it difficult to comprehend what was happening back in my own country. Today that country is growing faster and better governed; same country we asked to go. |

sarrki: Can you name one reckless charge you are getting from a Telco or DSTV? Your country collects over 500 million dollars from each Telco as license fee ( the highest ever in the world ) doesnt provide them with any single infrastructure to ease out their operation from electricity to microwave backbone to security , plagues them with a regime of multiple taxation .. Network have to run generators for 24 hours at every cell site , networks have to pay the locals salary at every cell site nationwide and yet they still deliver you call services at the lowest rates in world despite all this and you have the temerity to say their charges are high . Do you know the average cost of 1gb of date in America is being sold for 4380 Naira while in UK a gb of data goes for 2190 Naira while in Nigeria the average cost of a GB is just 750 Naira .. Are you aware that monthly subscription for premium Cable TV packages in America is averagely over 31 thousand naira monthly while a similar package in Nigeria is sold to you by DSTV for about 10,650 Naira . Sarrki and for your information No network give senators and REPs free airtime of 100k monthly that's a huge lie .. Sarrki no Telco is overcharging Nigerians the problem is that Nigerians are too poor and that's as a result of bad governance just the type you support. |

sarrki:Oga I mean very well ..the problem Nigerians are facing is the govt and yet you want to blame businesses that are doing their best to serve you with very limited govt presence even though they pay huge taxes . You want to buy one GB for 50 naira before you know networks are trying ko? Can you tell me what you oga has done with 5 billion dollar fine he fined MTN ? Are you aware it was Nigerians like you and me that ended paying that fine one way or the other and not MTN? Sarrki you need to hone your conscience man 1 Like |
