I've been working of my most favourite villains of all time. Not compulsorily series though. This list ain't based on might, brute force, charisma nor any other antagonistic quality. It's just my personal opinion

1. Joker (The Dark Knight)

2. Magneto (X- men franchise)

3. Sylar (Heroes;S1)

4. Freddy Krugger (A night on elm Street)

5. Monroe (Revolution; S1)

6. Harley Quinn (Birds of prey)

My favorite villains

1. Lord Voldemort ( Harry Potter )
Reason : He had a lot of chances to kill Harry potter , but he wanted a fair battle where the two would test thier strength.

2. Amazing Amy ( Gone girl ) :
Reason : She's a complete sociopath and very intelligent and the fact she never got arrested and had a way to frame everybody.

3. Joker ( Dark Knight )
Reason : one crazy fellow lol

4.Thanos

It's a mindfuc'k series. It blew me away last year. Very underrated compared to the overhyped money heist.
Money heist ain't overhyped

My top television anti-heroes and villains in no particular order

- Walter White (Breaking Bad): He poisoned a kid, murdered dozens of people to protect his empire, allowed his best friend's girlfriend to die in front of him to protect his investment, teamed up with neo-nazis to expand his drug empire, he bullied and manipulated his only friends to get them to do what he wanted, etc.

- Arthur Mitchell (Dexter): Possibly the most prolific and successful serial killer in fictional Television by kill counts (267 victims). Between the discovery of his killings, and the discovery of his identity, he was dubbed The Trinity Killer , due to the theory that his kill-cycle involved three murder rituals.

- Marlo Stanfield (The Wire): He is driven by the desire for totalitarian power. He ordered murders for very trivial reasons. He killed people for any perceived slight or provocation. He caused the homicide count in Baltimore to go to the hundreds.

- Dexter Morgan (Dexter): The most prolific and successful serial killer in fictional Television by survival (was never caught). Dexter is a psychopath and even though he limit his kills to other "bad guys", his motivation is completely selfish. He doesn't kill to punish the wicked but to satisfy his desires. When he screws up, and kill a wrong person, it doesn't upset him that he killed someone that didn't deserve to die, rather, that he made a mistake. It's his vanity and pride that are hurt. Basically, Dexter is not interested in being moral, he is interested in getting away with murder.

- Herr Starr (Preacher): The most feared man in The Grail (A secret organization dedicated to keeping the bloodline of Jesus Christ intact), Starr is the Sacred Executioner, the sword of the Allfather. With his grating voice and his scarred face, he is the threat of the Grail's power in human form. Whenever the Grail needs to put pressure on a state or on a leader, Starr is the one who pay them a visit, and when someone needs to be silenced, Starr silence them.

Others:

- Wilson Fisk (Daredevil)
- Hannibal Lecter (Hannibal)
- Pablo Escobar (Narcos)
- Jax Teller (Sons of Anarchy)
- Boyd Crowder (Justified)
- Elizabeth Jennings (The Americans)
- Vic Mackey (The Shield)
- Gilead (The Handmaid's Tale)
- Killgrave (Jessica Jones)
- Mr Nobody (Doom Patrol)
- Nucky Thompson (Broadwalk Empire)
- Tony Soprano (The Sopranos)
- Lucas Hood (Banshee)
- Gustavo Fring (Breaking Bad).
- Cersei Lannister (Game of Thrones)
- Etc

If time travel/time loop paradox ain't your thing, you'll probably not find it interesting. It's a mindfuck basically.

It's in German language.
Do you know where I can find the English dubbed or should I manage subtitles?

How did you get through the language barrier?

so I decided to see WHEN THEY SEE US last night and I just couldn't stand it. 30mins in and I was sooooo f*cking angry, turned my TV off and went to bed. The interrogation scenes, the fabricated statements, the callousness of law enforcement. I'm just not mentally prepared to watch this right now. will try again some other time. JESUS

I completely forgot Voldermolt. Thanos was trending on Twitter for some period of time. But I find him uncharismatic. His drive for destruction was illogical

I don't think he was a psychopath. He's a far more complex individual. If you call him a devil incarnate, you wouldn't be far off the mark. I know for a fact he's not motivated by pleasure, or greed, but by something more primal. He's a perfectionist that is utterly ruthless in violence, rage, and spiteful revenge that it's a fascination to behold.

Not the whole of Gilead per say, but the faceless vultures running things behind the shadows that really represent the core doctrines of Gilead.
