Hello, I'm new here... Please I wanted to know if there was anyone in Lagos willing to give tutorials for bcs certificate in IT. I joined the approved centre, even paid for the materials but they are only teaching us on WhatsApp and it's quite difficult for those of us that do not have IT backgrounds. Please if anyone has taking the exams and is willing to teach

We don't know exactly because this is federal skilled workers thread not federal skilled trades

But my research showed me all links below relevant to FST

FST CIC official info: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/eligibility/skilled-trades.html

Just seeing this( JJC to Nairaland syndrome). Thanks a lot. I qualify for both NOC 3211 and 6342, it's the 6342 which is unregulated, was hoping to use it as a 2nd certificate

Tailors: http://www.emigratecanada.com/immigrate-to-canada-as-a-tailor/

Trade certificate equivalency assessment: https://settlement.org/ontario/employment/professions-and-trades/evaluate-my-credentials/how-do-i-get-my-trade-experience-recognized-in-ontario/

Certificate of qualification: https://settlement.org/ontario/employment/professions-and-trades/regulated/how-do-i-get-a-certificate-of-qualification/ (note that some skills are regulated, others are not, I am not sure if tailoring is)

Unregulated trades: https://settlement.org/ontario/employment/professions-and-trades/unregulated/which-trades-are-unregulated-or-have-voluntary-certification-in-ontario/

Regulated trades: https://settlement.org/ontario/employment/professions-and-trades/regulated/which-trades-are-regulated-in-ontario/

Red seal trade qualification: https://www.collegeoftrades.ca/resources/exam-process

http://www.red-seal.ca/trades/tr.1d.2s_l.3st-eng.html

You would have to dedicate time to seive out useful info from those links. Reading and indepth research is essential especially since FST is not common

Can you also please use the info in these links to start a thread on the FSTrade Canada scheme, I am sure it will benefit many who have the POF but are able trade skilled men and women.

All the best in the process

Hopefully I don't get banned for these links grin

At bolded: Last month, at first, I felt the same way too. But then; I remembered that even if I'm not where I want to be, I'm not where I used to be. There's a lot to be grateful for. So, celebrate, you'll be fine.

Just seeing this( JJC to Nairaland syndrome) thanks. I can actually get in through two NOC categories 6342 and 3211, I was hoping on using the 6342(Tailor) as a second certificate

Hi guys! Please I just opened my EE profile and I have been given an Express Entry number but not a job seeker's validation code. Is there a specific reason why I wasn't given and what do I do to get one?

Only Parents (by birth or adopted with complete documentation), Spouse or Common Law Partner can add one as a dependant.

How many letters do you currently have on your profile? It might be in one of the letters.

I hope they haff not lumi ni jibiti shocked.... I was told it's 50k per module, there are 3 modules. That's 150k.

Then £40 per exam paper, times 3 modules, that's £120

Plus membership fee to join BCS, £37

Roughly about 220k sha.

I saw two responses above. I agree with them and I don't think hernia surgery is a serious disease. You stated that there were no complications.

If you want to mention it to make you sleep better, you can go ahead. But it is not something you have to have ongoing treatment/monitoring for.

I had Hernia surgery and I told them, it didn't affect me.. Mine was 20 years ago, but they didn't look bothered about it and I passed my medical fine

Oh...I see.

I'm writing too oh. Just joined the class yesterday. I am not aware of any tutorial group asides the WhatsApp class we had yesterday. Learnt we'll be having the next class on Zoom, more like a webinar. I think a lot of the prep work rests with the candidate since it's a virtual class. May God help us.

Hello good people of nairaland I would like to ask questions about NOC and claiming experience:

1. I have a degree in business informatics but i dont have any work experience as one. However, I have been working as a graphic designer in a standard organisation for over 5 years but WES did not recognize the graphic short course certificate that i presented to them. I would like to know which job title i can use as NOC; is it the business analyst or graphic design? as i have heard a lot of people say that the most important thing is to have at least 3 years work experience irrespective of the field one has a degree in. please assist.

2. Does NOC influence getting an ITA? i mean, whether it is A,B or C, do they still shortlist even if one already scored above the cut-off mark?

Good day all. I’ve been a silent reader on nl for a while now. I observe people complain of Wes and sometimes Iqas. There are other evaluations bodies for example CES i.e university of Toronto.they don’t evaluate waec but your highest degree and respond max 12weeks. You don’t have to follow the trend, besides it will save you additional processing cost.

Then, for a lot of jjcs like me on NL, pls read up and digest from page 1,and do your own research on google. There are so many repeated questions.if only we will take our time to read we will find answers and understand better.

Finally, thanks to everyone that sacrifice to share knowledge and motivate.
God bless us all.

Your graphics stuff is your noc
Noc c is not eligible for Express entry. They shortlist based on crs scores no one has time to check your details until after submission post ITA
