1. When I'm returning back from work, the girls in my compound would just run up to me, taking turns welcoming me leaving whoever they are with striking meaningless conversation.

2. I've had two girls cooked for me. They've also had an altercation about who is crushing on me.

3. Night visitors mostly cause I return home late, throwing themselves at me.

4. Girls ask for my number, and some try to impress me with cash forming independent women.

5. Increased stalkers on Facebook and unnecessary calls.

6. A girl (gf of a month) begging me for sex like there's no tomorrow. I'm actually a celibate now

I don't hate girls, I actually love them as a fellow human being but I've come to realize that they will do anything to get what they can't have.

Until I find a girl without drama and has sense, my guard will forever be up

Not really it was never anti-feminist until we came to this current political atmosphere, when it started it was a community of men who felt they were disfranchised by the government, as they felt that when it came to family laws, a woman was always favoured regardless of the circumstances, a lot of men lost out in paternity fraud, alimony and child custody. So the MGTOW was one where men avoided getting involved in marriage institution that involved the government. Some will date as long as they want, but marriage no way.

I don’t know if I am happy or sad that MGTOW is becoming popular in Nigeria.

Real MGTOW’s don’t even acknowledge the name. They just practice it. It’s more of a mindset. Peaceful mindset.

The only reason a Nigerian in the west will follow MGTOW is because of lack of game and small dating pool, many guys dont go out, they stay in their apartment all days and night without exploring, so it easy for them to take their anger of lack of sex and unite with other people who are also troubled minded people like them

i am not generalising, i am saying the facts, african culture is different from western culture, we are communal in nature, the expectations from our parent is to marry and let them see their grand kids...in nigeria, people are getting poor daily, men cant marry becaue of lack of fund, the women have understood that for them to survive they have to sell something but the men dont understand that, that is why they whine, if they understand, the sex has been transactional from ages and upgrade then life will be easy, our fore fathers never fell in love but their women respected them because they were able to lead and provide for them, reality of life is that in african culture, there is nothing like love, marriage is all about service and leadership

I guess the communal nature of Africa is the part of the reason why we are in the poverty chart and backwards.

Not everyone is prime for marriage. It’s a choice. You are not financial buoyant and then you start bringing children you can’t take care of. Many girls are into prostitution.

I am privilege to be 23 and working a good job in Nigeria with a very decent salary. I don’t want a girlfriend or a wife. I choose the minimalist lifestyle and invest in bitcoin and etc. I have a decent amount in savings. I have a lot, a lot of girls on my case but I choose not to deal. I don’t have problems with women. They are sweet but I don’t want to deal. Maybe cause I understand female nature.

the reality is that many dont have the resources that is why they are celibate, if they did have cash, they wont be complaining..as you wrote not every one is financial buoyant to marry and i agree with that, if you dont have money dont marry because money makes marriage sweet.
